Who Is Wilmer Valderrama's Fiance, Amanda Pacheco?

Wilmer Valderrama seems to be pretty darn happy these days and that's surely, in part, because of Valderrama's relationship with Amanda Pacheco. The two met around 2019 thanks to a friend, according to Parents, and although his busy "NCIS" schedule and her intended relocation from Los Angeles to Miami meant that they weren't interested in romance, he admitted there was "a gravitational pull" between them. He explained, "There was just something about her that told me I needed to know this person."

When Valderrama gave Pacheco a text, he used knowledge of the city where he was born to connect with her by "giving her advice on Miami." They also ended up in a multilingual conversation after Valderrama started using Spanish when he learned of her Mexican family background. Yet, since she's "not fluent," she admitted, "I had Wilmer on my phone in one hand, and my dad translating for me on another phone in my other hand! We always joke that Wilmer and my dad are really the ones who fell in love with each other."

However it happened, Pacheco — who didn't end up moving to Miami after all — and Valderrama did fall in love, and by April 2019, the public suspected a romance when they were spotted together in L.A. before popping up at Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's nuptials in France, per People. The two got engaged in January 2020 and although the pandemic has forced them to postpone their potential wedding, Pacheco's life has significantly changed.

Amanda Pacheco is an adorably loving mom

While Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco wait for their eventual wedding, the two moved ahead when it came to growing their family. In December 2020, the two revealed that they were expecting their first child, per Us Weekly, and Pacheco seemed thrilled to embrace the fact that she was becoming a mother.

After updating her social media followers throughout her pregnancy and sharing special moments — like when they found out they were having a girl with the help of a skydiver — Pacheco used Instagram to reveal when their little one had arrived. The new mama shared a photo of her family of three, and, in the caption, noted that the baby had arrived on February 15, 2021. She also wrote, "The world is an ever-evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us we can be more... straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter."

Eventually revealing that their daughter was named Nakano Oceana Valderrama, Pacheco now spends her days being an adorably sweet mom to her ridiculously cute baby girl. For instance, she poses in plaid with her daughter while basking in the sunshine, celebrates the holidays in matching PJs, and basically looks wonderfully happy with her family. Of course, that's not that she does. She also happens to have two very cool yet very different careers.

Two very different ventures surely keep Amanda Pacheco busy

If you happen to follow Amanda Pacheco on Instagram — along with well over 77,000 others, BTW — then you might have noticed that her handle is @seaweanie. While that's adorably silly, it also suits her in a way. That's because, as her bio notes, she's a PADI Divemaster, which Life & Style explained is someone who has a license to take people scuba diving. That's why, if you take a peek at the photos that Pacheco shares, you'll notice that there are plenty of her around water. Indeed, as her bio explains, she "belong[s] deep in the sea or high in the trees where things are wild [and] free."

When Pacheco isn't in the water scuba diving, she might be raising awareness for ovarian cancer or taking on a modeling gig which is her other career path. Working with both SCOUT LA/SF and CGM MIA, according to her IG bio, her portfolio with SCOUT SF shows off an impressive display of professional-looking pics. She also shared a video of herself in a bathing suit on January 26 that seems to suggest that she's happy to pose for the camera if anyone is looking to hire her for an upcoming swimwear, sunscreen, or beach-related campaign.
