Taylor Swift's Alleged Stalker Found To Be Unfit For Trial
The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer won't be seeing her alleged stalker in court.
TMZ reports that the man accused of stalking Taylor Swift, identified as Mohammed Jaffar, has been declared mentally unfit for trial. At a hearing on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, a New York judge determined that Jaffar could not take the stand in his current condition. As such, Jaffar will reportedly remain in a mental health facility until he's deemed ready for trial.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jaffar was arrested in March 2017 after allegedly stalking Swift for months. He'd reportedly frequented her apartment building, asking to meet Swift, repeatedly ringing her doorbell, and calling her management company 59 times in the span of just three weeks.
He was later indicted for "loitering outside her Tribeca apartment for three months" and was held on $20,000 bond.
Hopefully, Swift's alleged stalker will get the help he needs.
