How Chloë Grace Moretz Played A Role In Meghan Trainor's Marriage

Meghan Trainor is a happily married Hollywood celeb. The "All About That Bass" singer wed actor Daryl Sabara back in 2018, as reported by People. The pair tied the knot on Trainor's 25th birthday in a small ceremony attended by those closest to the two stars. "It's the beginning of an awesome, whole new life," Trainor told the news outlet. "I got way more than I ever wished for." Sabara then voiced his bliss in marrying Trainor, stating, "I'm the luckiest guy in the world."

Trainor may have manifested this ideal marriage in a past song she recorded that was inspired by Sabara. When she spoke to Cosmopolitan in 2017, Trainor revealed that she'd penned "six songs on the road about [Sabara] in front of his face," with "one [being] called 'Marry Me.'" In addition, Trainor explained how Sabara gave her a smooch on their very first date, which helped seal the deal for their romance. "He kissed me at the bowling alley," Trainor said of Sabara before adding, "He was the best kisser ever. I know I'm really good at kissing, but I was shocked when he was." The fated setup of these celeb sweethearts was actually facilitated by a fellow Hollywood star.

Chloë Grace Moretz set Meghan Trainor up with Daryl Sabara

Chloë Grace Moretz played a major part in Meghan Trainor's marriage to Daryl Sabara. The "If I Stay" star, who is a close friend of Trainor's, set the singer and Sabara up for a double date that Moretz also attended with a romantic partner. As Trainor revealed in her 2017 Cosmopolitan interview, the four went out for a bowling and karaoke night after the singer had asked Moretz if she knew any potential romantic partners to introduce her to. "... I've told [Moretz] before, 'Get me a boyfriend!' and she told me she had a really nice friend named Daryl that I had to meet, and we did!" Trainor said on "Chelsea" in 2016 (via Billboard).

In 2018, Moretz spoke of her role as a matchmaker for Trainor and Sabara when visiting "The Late Late Show with James Corden." "I met, Meghan, we hung out, she said she really wanted to meet a good guy," Moretz said. "I knew Daryl really well from when we did a play together. And I set them up, and they're engaged to be married! So I'm a matchmaker." After Moretz set the love birds up, they quickly hit it off, and by December 2017 the two had become engaged. Trainor celebrated their plans to wed with an Instagram video of Sabara proposing and wrote that she'd "never been this happy!" Following their 2018 nuptials, Trainor and Sabara have started a family together.
