The Skin Condition Madison LeCroy Deals With Every Day
Madison LeCroy is a natural beauty, that's obvious, but while many reality stars are a little more focused on the glitz and glam that can come with a career on the small screen, LeCroy has also used her platform to get real with her fans. Case and point? The many (many, many) times she's gotten candid about her relationships after fans saw some of her most private moments air on "Southern Charm."
The star has spoken out on a few occasions about her past romance with her co-stars Austen Kroll — and she hasn't held back when it comes to the reasons she and Kroll were never meant to be. "I was depressed, emotionally and mentally drained by that previous relationship. Austen's not husband material, and I have quickly realized what that is, and I've been put on a pedestal in the relationship that I am in," she explained to Entertainment Tonight in July, referring to her romance with her now husband, Brett Randle. "It definitely has changed my outlook on everything really. I mean, just overall being happy and not in a toxic situation," she added.
But it's not just when it comes to her relationships that LeCroy has lifted the veil on what things are really like. The star has also gotten very candid with fans about a skin condition she deals with on the daily, sharing the truth about her experience with rosacea.
Madison LeCroy deals with rosacea flareups
In November, Madison LeCroy got very candid about her skin condition, sharing that she often deals with bouts of rosacea, which, per Mayo Clinic, is an issue that causes a lot of redness on the face as the blood vessels become more visible. Speaking to New Beauty, LeCroy explained that she'd experienced a bad flareup shortly before her wedding but revealed the ways she's been competing her facial redness. She explained she has a skin expert in Charleston, South Carolina, who she visits regularly to help keep her rosacea under control. "I go to a place here in Charleston called Ella Ora and see Kristen Joy VanGuilder who people come from all over to see, I'm lucky to get an appointment," she shared, revealing they advised her to use calming products on her skin. Her other top tips? Always using a cleanser at night and making use of a healing mask, before applying sunscreen before she heads out every morning.
LeCroy also revealed that she'd had to cut down on her workouts and red wine intake, though her pre-wedding social media activity showed she was still working out regularly. In October, the reality star shared her workout routine on Instagram Stories as she hit the gym with her trainer, Gunnar Moldrik. In one clip, per Bravo, she revealed she was doing as many reps as she could of everything, including plate overhead lunges and pushing and pulling a sled. No wonder she's so toned!
Madison LeCroy's go-to rosacea facial
When her rosacea is flaring up, facials are also a must for Madison LeCroy. The "Southern Charm" star has been open with fans about how she combats the symptoms of the skin condition, admitting that one big thing she would recommend is a DyeVL laser treatment. "It wasn't painful and I didn't have any downtime, so I didn't look crazy for days or anything like that," she explained to New Beauty. "It just smooths out the skin and is good for rosacea. I've been doing that and then just your signature facials."
LeCroy also gave fans a look at the effects of the treatment via Instagram Stories in November when she shared a totally makeup-free photo showing how much her skin had improved. Writing on the snap, LeCroy claimed she saw a difference in her skin the very next day after undergoing the treatment (via Bravo). Ella Ora also shared a video of LeCroy having the facial treatment done on the company's Instagram, which showed her sitting back as Ora used an IPL device to improve her skin.
One thing's for sure here though, Madison LeCroy is totally gorgeous!
