Michael Buble Has A New Perspective On Life After Son's Cancer Battle

Michael Bublé has a newfound appreciation for life.

The "Haven't Met You Yet" singer opened up about how his 4-year-old son Noah's recent cancer battle has changed his perspective on life while speaking with Entertainment Tonight Canada at the 2018 Juno Awards on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

"Emotionally, it's a roller-coaster," Bublé, who hosted the event in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada, began. "I think life sort of teaches you these hard lessons sometimes. Part of that lesson is that it allowed me to really have perspective, and to really enjoy more than I ever have in my life. I enjoy the small things."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Bublé, 42, and his wife Luisana Lopilato, 30, announced that they'd be taking a hiatus from all professional engagements following Noah's heartbreaking liver cancer diagnosis in November 2016.

"We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US," the "Everything" singer wrote on Facebook at the time. "We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."

Thankfully, Lopilato confirmed in April 2017 that their son was cancer-free after undergoing four months of chemotherapy treatment.

Bublé, who has been slowly getting back to the spotlight, previously announced that he will return to the stage with two concerts in England and Ireland this summer. The popular crooner had made his first public appearance following his son's recovery last June, when he received the National Arts Centre Award in Ottawa.

"My entire life has been inspired by how my family has made me feel — my wife, my children, my parents, my sisters," he said in his heartfelt acceptance speech. "There are no words to describe how I feel about you. Sometimes 'I love you' just isn't enough."

Bublé and Lopilato, who are also parents to 2-year-old Elias, revealed just last month that they were expecting their third child together.
