Famous People Pamela Anderson Absolutely Can't Stand

This article features allegations of domestic violence, alcohol addiction, drug use, and sexual misconduct.

Arguably one of the biggest pop culture figures of the 1990s, Pamela Anderson helped "Baywatch" become the most-watched show of the decade. As the slow-motion-running lifeguard CJ Parker, the star adorned pretty much every teenage boy's wall thanks to revealing shoots in Playboy. She also inadvertently kickstarted the trend for celebrity sex tapes.

But while she's undoubtedly best known for being a babe, the Canadian-American has also become a tabloid favorite due to her fondness for feuding. And we're not just talking about her weathered history with all five (at the time of writing) of her ex-husbands, either. Over the years, Anderson has taken aim at everything from the clothing brand Canadian Goose to the #MeToo movement and at everyone from incumbent United States presidents and sweary celebrity chefs to former teen-pop princesses and disgraced media moguls. Here's a look at 14 famous faces who have found out to their cost that the pin-up star's tongue is as sharp as her curves.

Pam wants a public apology from Seth Rogen

In 2021, the story of how Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's sex tape became one of the most lusted-after films of all time was turned into the Hulu miniseries, "Pam & Tommy," with Lily James playing the former and Sebastian Stan the latter. The only problem was that the former "Baywatch" blonde at the center of the scandal hadn't given her approval for the dramatization.

In the Netflix documentary, "Pamela, A Love Story" (via Entertainment Weekly), the star revealed that having such a public violation unearthed once again and played for laughs against her will, made her feel similar to how she did when the sex tape was originally swiped and sold. Contrary to rumors, the Canadian-American wasn't responsible for leaking the tape in a publicity stunt — it was reportedly stolen by a disgruntled handyman. "Basically, you are just a thing owned by the world" she reflected in the documentary.

Understandably, Anderson was extremely irate at having her private life exploited for public consumption once again. And while she doesn't hold any bad will toward the actor cast to play her, she does believe the behind-the-scenes team, which includes executive producer Seth Rogen, should be held accountable for making the series without her consent. During a revealing chat with Variety, the star was asked what she thought of the team, to which she brusquely responded, "A**holes ... [They] still owe me a public apology."

She claimed that Tommy Lee wanted to destroy their son

In 2018, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's turbulent relationship took another twist when the Mötley Crüe drummer got into a physical fight with their eldest son. On Twitter, Tommy accused Brandon Lee of having broken into his bedroom while he and his fiancee, Brittany Furlan, were sleeping. He alleged that his son assaulted him, eventually knocking the star unconscious when he was asked to leave the property.

But in a statement posted on her own website titled "Alcoholism is the Devil," Anderson claimed (via Daily Mail) that their offspring was simply acting in self-defense and wanted his dad to get sober. "He [Brandon] punched him in the nose for all of us who he has hurt. Now Tommy feels humiliated — and is attempting to destroy his own son." In response, Tommy told TMZ that while he was guilty of excessive drinking, he wasn't an alcoholic. He also accused his ex-wife of turning their sons against him.

Anderson has long been open regarding the alleged abuse she endured at the hands of Tommy during their three-year marriage — particularly the assault which led him to receive a six-month jail sentence. In the statement, she added that while she's always been honest about his actions, she's never vilified him for it. "I have always tried only to set record straight. Trying to paint him as not a bad guy. Just one who is human and made mistakes," she wrote. "He ... has never taken responsibility for what he has done."

Anderson hasn't spoken to Kid Rock since 2006

Pamela Anderson split with her second husband, country rocker Kid Rock, pretty much before the ink on the marriage certificate had even dried. They headed for the divorce courts in 2006 just four months after walking down the aisle together. And they haven't spoken since. You can understand why after reading Anderson's memoir, "Love, Pamela."

The "Baywatch" star recalled the night she and the wildman she referred to as Bob attended the industry premiere of "Borat." Anderson had decided to keep schtum about her involvement in the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy. Unfortunately, her other half didn't appreciate the element of surprise. She wrote (via Rolling Stone), "I forgot about the part in the film that referenced the 'sex tape.' Bob stormed out, calling me a whore and worse. He was embarrassed, and his reaction was not thought through." She chased after him, but he drove away. Anderson was left to apologize to the people who had witnessed his outburst and to ask someone for a ride back to the home she shared with Rock.

"When I walked in, Bob was smashing a photo on the wall," she added. "He said he was sick of waking up to a picture of me and [acclaimed photographer] David LaChapelle every day." In a further example of the musician's alleged dunderheadedness, the actor had to explain that said photo was actually of Bert Stern and Marilyn Monroe.

Did she email Rick Salomon about his faults?

After getting their 2008 first marriage annulled, Pamela Anderson and poker champion Rick Salomon decided to walk down the aisle again in 2014. Sadly, it didn't prove to be second time lucky as within a year the on-and-off pair became firmly off. And the "Baywatch" star reportedly ensured that her third husband knew exactly why things had ended. According to TMZ, sources claimed that Anderson sent Salomon an email listing all the reasons why she was finally saying goodbye for good. Their lack of sexual compatibility was purportedly a major bugbear, with the pin-up said to have declared, "I'm frustrated and bored."

In her Netflix documentary, "Pamela, a Love Story," the star detailed why she'd called time on their relationship the first time around. The actor claimed (via Daily Mail) that she'd found a crack pipe hidden within a Christmas tree. Salomon told the New York Post that although he'd been a habitual user of the drug for 25 years, the offending item wasn't his.

Pamela Anderson labeled Adil Rami a monster

Pamela Anderson's love life troubles continued in 2017 when she began dating Adil Rami, a professional soccer player for the French club, Marseille. The pair were rarely out of the tabloids during their turbulent two years together, largely due to speculation about the defender's indefensible behavior. Anderson and Rami reportedly first split in 2018 amid rumors published by TMZ that the latter had attempted to alienate his girlfriend from her nearest and dearest.

The couple then decided to give things another go before separating for good — and in unsurprisingly acrimonious circumstances, no less, as the "Baywatch" icon revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post (via Bleacher Report). Having just found out that Rami had been two-timing her with another woman, Anderson wrote, "He used to joke about other players who had girlfriends down the street in apartments close to their wives. He called those men monsters ... But this is worse ... How is it possible to control two women's hearts and minds like this? I'm sure there were others. He is the monster."

In another part of the extensive post, the star also accused Rami of domestic violence and wrote that she had hired a bodyguard to protect herself from him, claiming, "He has hurt me and threatened me many times." In response, the soccer player took to Instagram to deny the allegations that he had cheated on or committed violence against Anderson (via Daily Mail).

She clashed with Meghan McCain on The View

Never in a million years would you have put the '90s ultimate pin-up Pamela Anderson and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange together as bosom buddies before the mid-2010s. But as evidenced by the staunch defense the former gave of the latter to People, the pair have forged one of the celebrity world's most unlikely friendships. And the "Baywatch" star once again proved that she's someone you want fighting your corner during a heated debate on "The View."

Anderson appeared on the daytime institution shortly after Assange's asylum had been revoked by the Ecuadorian Embassy. And when talk inevitably turned to the subject, Meghan McCain didn't hold back. The panelist accused the controversial figure of having committed cyber terrorism adding, "He hacked information. His leaks included information that put our national security at risk, our military, the lives of spies."

As you'd expect, Anderson didn't take this lying down. Not only did she dismiss McCain's inflammatory label, but she also insisted that there was a smear campaign against Assange. "There's nothing that's proven that he's putting anybody at risk. They've gone through this over and over again," she contended. "And I think that people like Edward Snowden, [and] Chelsea Manning are heroes. And Julian Assange is a publisher." Later, she added, "He's not saying his opinions, he's just giving you the information ... He's a publisher who supports whistleblowers."

Pamela Anderson criticized Theresa May's leadership

Having forged an unlikely friendship with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Pamela Anderson continued her unexpected foray into global affairs in 2017 when she took aim at the United Kingdom's then-PM Theresa May. In an official website post titled "Why My Heart Stands with Julian" (via Page Six), the "Baywatch" legend tore into the Conservative party leader, writing, "[She is the] worst Prime Minister in living memory." While the piece was written in support of Assange, the star made sure to address the failings of the Conservative party under May's rule. That included the tragedy of the Grenfell Tower fire, in which 72 people were killed due to poor government guidance as well as the building being constructed using subpar and combustible materials.

Anderson's post continued, "Theresa May, who is on her last legs. Theresa May of the Pyhrric victory. Theresa May, who won't shake the hand of the victims of the Grenfell fire. Who doesn't care about poor people. Who doesn't care about justice or peace. Who doesn't care about Julian." The latter sentence explains why Anderson decided to write such a diatribe. The star argued that May was responsible for keeping Assange imprisoned for five years in London's Ecuadorian Embassy and that she was doing nothing to help set him free. At the time, the Australian was being investigated by the U.S. government for his publication of classified records.

Pamela Anderson called Scott Morrison lewd

Theresa May isn't the only prime minister that Pamela Anderson has taken umbrage with over the issue of Julian Assange. In 2018, she pleaded with the then-Australian leader Scott Morrison to help free the WikiLeaks founder from the Ecuadorian Embassy he'd spent five years holed up in on suspicion of publishing classified government records. And she then went on the warpath after learning of his response.

Indeed, Morrison didn't appear to take the issue seriously when the subject came up during a commercial radio interview. When asked whether he'd act upon Anderson's advice, he quipped (via The Guardian), "Well no, first of all, but next, I've had plenty of mates who've asked me if they can be my special envoy to sort the issue out with Pamela Anderson." The country's minister for women, Kelly O'Doyd, responded on behalf of Morrison during her address to the National Press Club and suggested he didn't mean any harm by his comments.

Unsurprisingly, the "Home Improvement" star didn't take too kindly to his words. In a piece for The Daily Beast, Anderson wrote, "You trivialized and laughed about the suffering of an Australian and his family. You followed it with smutty, unnecessary comments about a woman voicing her political opinion. We all deserve better from our leaders, especially in the current environment." The actor then advised Morrison to save his lewd comments and instead focus on how he would explain the Queensland-born Assange being sent to Guantanamo Bay.

She blasted Janet and Naomi for wearing fur

As a regular spokesperson for PETA, Pamela Anderson has unsurprisingly called out a number of celebrities for wearing fur. In 2010, it was Janet Jackson's turn after the "Together Again" singer posed for a Blackglama commercial while wearing a mink coat. The "Baywatch" star told Out [via People], "It's disappointing. She has spoken out against fur before. I don't know why some people stop listening to their heart. I guess some people get greedy, but it's sad."

In 2017, Naomi Campbell, the supermodel who'd famously posed for a PETA anti-fur campaign during her '90s heyday, also came under fire after turning up to a party staged by the Pirelli Calendar in a fox fur coat. Anderson told Page Six, "So many animals were anally electrocuted for this coat and sometimes skinned alive. Naomi, I adore you. I wish you wouldn't wear fur. People follow you. You are a fashion icon."

Anderson can perhaps take heart from the fact that she has persuaded at least two high-profile fashion queens to say farewell to fur. According to the actor herself, both Melania Trump and Kim Kardashian are now firmly against such attire after listening to her wise words, per The Guardian.

Pam called out Gordon Ramsay's cruelty

Pamela Anderson has always been a keen animal rights activist and has often used her power as a celebrity to convert others to the cause. Aftfer all, she even somehow convinced both Melania Trump and Kim Kardashian to stop wearing fur. And in 2018, the "Baywatch" icon tried to persuade hot-tempered chef Gordon Ramsay to make a similar pledge.

Anderson penned an open letter to the "Hell's Kitchen" star, imploring him to remove foie gras at his self-titled London restaurant. The controversial fatty food, made by force-feeding fowl so that their livers expand ten-fold, can be legally imported into the U.K. But the actor told Ramsay, "Given your exceptional talent, I have no doubt that you can create dishes to impress that don't involve this cruelty."

To further help her cause, Anderson even suggested a cleverly-titled vegan alternative, faux gras, that could go on the menu instead. But the fact the celebrity chef didn't publicly respond to such protestations suggests he paid little heed. Three years later, he even tried a $777 foie gras-topped burger for his show "Gordon Ramsay's American Road Trip" (via Delish), so he's almost certainly still in the former Playboy model's bad books.

She told Jessica Simpson to wear smarter clothes

In 2008, Jessica Simpson was pictured sporting a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan, "Real Girls Eat Meat." The sartorial choice was reportedly a swipe at the mostly-vegan Carrie Underwood — the ex-girlfriend of Simpson's then-beau, Tony Romo. But the publicity stunt also offended another well-known blonde, Pamela Anderson.

While appearing on a comedic radio station Down Under, the "Baywatch" star joined in a conversation about the T-shirt where she got a little carried away with the banter, describing the star with sexist pejoratives, according to Cosmopolitan. However, Anderson later insisted to "Access Hollywood" (via TODAY) that she didn't know which famous face the hosts were referring to and that her comments were only intended as a joke.

Regardless, instead of apologizing to the "I Wanna Love You Forever" singer, Anderson decided to offer her some fashion advice. "I sent her some information and ... a letter from PETA saying how the meat industry is horrible for the environment, horrible for your health," she said. "... I don't know what her intentions were but she definitely wanted to be photographed in that T-shirt and I thought, you know, put a smarter T-shirt on." In an interview with TMZ, Simpson laughed off the comments and suggested that she also eats her veggies sometimes too.

Pamela Anderson was berated by Harvey Weinstein

Like seemingly every other female actor who worked in Hollywood during Harvey Weinstein's alleged reign of terror, Pamela Anderson has a story about the disgraced movie mogul. And it started with a feud over an invisible dog.

In 2008, Anderson was cast in the much-maligned parody "Superhero Movie" as Invisible Girl, a character that was also supposed to have a dog that went unseen, too. As a keen supporter of animal rights, she had concerns about whether an acting canine would be treated fairly and safely on a film set. Ultimately, the "Baywatch" star refused to appear if producers used a real-life pooch.

During an appearance on "TODAY" in 2017, Anderson recalled to the show's host, Megyn Kelly, how she felt the full force of Weinstein's temper once he heard about her stance. "You're Pamela Anderson and you don't deserve anything," the actor recalled him saying. "'If you don't do this you'll never work in this town again.' Never in my life had I been talked to [like this]. I've had some pretty bad boyfriends, and I've never been talked to this way."

She called out Donald Trump's disrespect toward women

In 2016, just a month before he emerged victorious over Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, Donald Trump was caught on tape discussing how he openly gropes women during a chat with TV host Billy Bush. And Pamela Anderson was just one of many famous faces who spoke out about the future 45th's disrespect toward women.

The star was delivering a speech at Oxford University as part of her Take the Pledge campaign regarding the dangers of pornography when she addressed Trump's controversial comments. The "Baywatch" star said (via Daily Mail), "It's terrible. And I've heard other men speak that way, even about me, and it cannot be swept under the rug because how we deal with it and how he is ... it's not okay." Anderson also dismissed the excuse that it was simply locker room behavior, adding, "I don't believe that's true of the men who do speak that way. It's got to stop. You've got to have respect for women — behind closed doors, around women, and around men."

Anderson would later try to get into Trump's good books in the hope of acquiring a pardon for her friend Julian Assange.

Was Pamela Anderson flashed by Tim Allen?

One of the most headline-grabbing revelations from Pamela Anderson's 2023 memoir revolved around a disturbing encounter she had on the set of the '90s sitcom "Home Improvement." The actor, who played Tool Time girl Lisa, claimed in "Love, Pamela" (via Variety) that she was briefly flashed by the show's lead, Tim Allen, on her very first day. "I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath," she wrote. "He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked" — in reference to her pin-up shoots for Playboy. Allen then reportedly said, "'Now we're even.' I laughed uncomfortably." The blonde added, "It was the first of many bizarre encounters where people felt they knew me enough to make absolute fools out of themselves."

Anderson later told Variety that she believed her co-star didn't mean any harm with his behavior and that it was a different time. However, she's unlikely to have appreciated his response. Allen not only refuted these claims but also expressed how he felt let down by them in a video uploaded by Daily Mail. After describing Anderson as a hard-working, decent girl, the funnyman said, "Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her memory, put it that way."
