Travis Barker's Kids Live Insanely Lavish Lives

Those who didn't know Travis Barker from Blink-182 have definitely learned about him once he joined the Kardashian family. Barker married Kourtney in what turned out to be a luxurious and expensive wedding turned into a special for everyone to watch. "'Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis," is available for streaming on Hulu for viewers to get an insight into their Italian wedding which Kourtney described as, "Our wedding felt like time didn't exist. It just felt perfect."

This new Barker audience soon came to discover the musician has two children and a very close relationship with his ex-wife's daughter. His kids have lived lavish lives in a mansion, with a nanny, making music themselves, and growing up with a big presence on social media. Alabama and Landon are both in their late teens as of this writing, while Atiana De La Hoya (Shanna Moakler and Oscar De La Hoya's daughter) is in her mid-20s.

Alabama Barker showed off their mansion

Alabama Barker has a huge social media presence on Instagram and her YouTube channel. Through her platforms, she has shared glimpses of her life and with that she has given a look into what her father's mansion is like. Throughout her time on her socials, she has shown their hallway, the living room with its luxurious fireplace, and the pool.

It never looks like she is trying to show off her way of living, but more so trying to share who she is with her followers. At times, this way of using her social media has sparked concern among her followers. This was particularly true when she shared a video with lyrics about being lonely: "I never had thoughts that control me until something bad left me so lonely / And I want it back, I want the old me. I'm trying to forget." She discussed this as well through her YouTube channel when someone asked her how she deals with the hate at such a young age. "It will never get better if you don't let it get better yourself. If you don't block out the hate, it will never get better."

They have a nanny who cooks for them

Seeing glimpses of the kind of life the Barker kids live, it is no surprise that they have had a nanny for the majority of their lives. However, it may have surprised some followers when Alabama introduced her nanny in a YouTube video where the two of them were trying TikTok recipes. "It's Alabama Barker here and I'm with my auntie/nanny for 17 years, Lizzie," she said as she set the mood for the video.

The two of them were cooking the viral feta pasta recipe and seemed to be very comfortable around each other. Alabama called her nanny "the GOAT" for having been cooking for her throughout her entire life. She used the video as a way to introduce Lizzie to her fans, asking her questions about how long she has been with the family and sharing details such as, "She actually taught me how to cook, taught me how to cook almost everything."

Landon Barker performed with Machine Gun Kelly

With Travis Barker's career as a musician it is no surprise that his children may follow into his footsteps. Landon Barker has been creating music on his own for a few years now, with two of his music videos uploaded on his YouTube channel. One of his songs sparked controversy in 2023 as fans began to wonder if it was about Charli D'Amelio and Lil Huddy. However, according to Dexerto, Landon commented on an Instagram post saying, "This song's inspiration was the MGK song 'my ex's best friend.' That's what we tried to recreate."

This is an acceptable explanation considering Landon has performed with Machine Gun Kelly in the past. Back in 2022, he joined MGK at Madison Square Garden to sing "Die in California." The performance happened shortly after TMZ released the news that Travis had been hospitalized. The musician was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center while his daughter Alabama took to social media to ask for prayers for her father.

Landon taking the stage with MGK wasn't their first collaboration. The young Barker helped produce the albums "Mainstream Sellout" and "Tickets to My Downfall."

The family attends Landon Barker's shows

As a family, the Barkers seem to be a close-knit group. When Landon Barker began performing, his family was there to see him and support him. During an interview with E! News, he said, "[Travis'] always in my corner. He's always there for me as I am for him."

In February 2022, Alabama, Kourtney, Travis, Mason, and Penelope attended Landon's concert at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. Paparazzis were focusing on Alabama's leather outfit and her long white nails. But despite the comments on her outfit, she was focused on her brother's performance, even shouting him out on Instagram.

Landon's endeavors don't end with music. He was also seen participating in a fashion show during February 2022 and, according to Page Six, both his father and Kourtney attended the show to give their support. His appearance may have caused controversy as a lot has been said about Landon's style, to which he replied: "I just wear what I like and whatever I see that speaks to me, I'll wear it. Some things will and some things don't. I feel like it's just me being myself. I feel like that's really how I developed my style."

They are friends with Kourtney Kardashian's children

When Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian got together, it became obvious that their families would blend. The evidence was at their wedding when Landon, Alabama, Atiana, Mason, Penelope, and Reign were present to support their parents. However, a friend of the family told Us Weekly, "They became friends living in the same neighborhood and hang out a lot. Their kids' friendship had Kourtney and Travis spending a lot of time together."

Even though the kids seem to get along perfectly, Kourtney said on the podcast "Not Skinny but Not Fat" that they weren't living together in 2022. "I think we're in the place where we're figuring out how to blend our households and our kids ... For the most part, we're getting those things in place. We do family dinner every Sunday night with all the kids at his house."

The close bond between the Barker and Kardashian kids didn't sit too well with Landon, Alabama, and Atiana's mother who said: "The Kardashians are buying my kids Prada every other day. They're going on lavish trips. They're doing all these things, which is fine. I think it's nice that they're being kind to my kids. I want that for my children. I don't think it's great when they put a wedge in between their biological mother."

Alabama Barker became an ambassador for PrettyLittleThing

Alabama Barker has over one million followers on her Instagram account as of this writing, and has always shown an interest for fashion, posting multiple photos of her outfits. Back in April 2022, she shared with her followers (in a post that has since been deleted) that she would be the new ambassador of PrettyLittleThing. While Alabama said she was very excited, her father and Kourtney Kardashian encouraged her by commenting emojis and words of support (via Daily Mail).

Her first video collaboration was posted on April 21 2022 through the PrettyLittleThing YouTube channel, sharing a behind the scenes of their first photoshoot. "I'm on my very first brand ambassador shoot for PLT." In a statement released by Alabama, she wrote: "I am excited to be Pretty Little Thing's newest brand ambassador. I have been a long-time buyer and love how inclusive the brand is. I can't wait for you guys to see my first shoot with the brand, launching very soon" (via Fashion United).

Landon Barker started dating TikTok star Charli D'Amelio

After Charli D'Amelio and Lil Huddy's breakup, rumors started circulating that the TikTok star was dating Landon Barker. In June 2022, someone close to both Charli and Landon told People, "They're seeing each other, and it's early stages." Another source told Us Weekly, "It's very low-key. They're having fun hanging out and getting to know each other."

Even though the relationship may have started as low-key, it definitely grew from there and the two began appearing together at different events. They spent the 2022 holidays together, attended the Grammys in February 2023, and were present at Milan Fashion Week. As a couple, they share videos on TikTok where fans can appreciate their dynamic. In one TikTok, they even shared that they had matching nails. They were also on the cover of Mini V Magazine together. For their issue, they answered the Proust Questionnaire, giving a glimpse into what their relationship is like.

Family is clearly a big thing for both of them, and luckily, they all get along. D'Amelio told E! News, "His family is incredible and they're so supportive of what I do. You know, I'm very close with my family as well, so it means a lot that we all spend a lot of time together. We always have so much fun."

Alabama Barker is homeschooled

Since Alabama Barker started sharing big parts of her life on social media, she also shared she is homeschooled. During an Instagram live in March 2022, a viewer commented she shouldn't forget she had school, but she denied this. "It's Thursday, I don't have school on Thursday, and I'm homeschooled so that wouldn't really matter." Even though she later realized it was Friday, she still confirmed she didn't have school that day.

In January 2023, Alabama started her YouTube channel, giving viewers a closer look into her life. In February, she did a Q&A in which she answered questions from her fans, and during one of the questions about her favorite things to do in Los Angeles, she talked about being homeschooled. "Fun stuff to do [in Los Angeles] is go to the movies. I love going to the movies, I don't know if that's just me. I would also say bowling, dinner, parties ... but if I'm not doing that, I'm at home doing my schoolwork."

Travis Barker has a set of rules for his children

When you raise children in the public eye, everyone will have something to say, and Travis Barker was no exception to the rule. There have been a lot of comments particularly regarding Alabama and the way she chooses to dress at such a young age. A lot of the comments have been left on her TikTok videos saying things such as, "Great parenting. You should be real proud" or "Why aren't her parents teaching her to dress properly when she's still a child?" But the truth is that Travis has a set of rules for his children.

An article by YourTango revealed that Travis has 12 rules for his children. Among those rules, he made it very clear that his children are free to wear whatever they want — which both Alabama and Landon have done throughout the years, expressing themselves through their outfits. Travis also encourages his children to play music and follow in his footsteps as long as Landon does not follow with the face tattoos.

At the end of the day, his rules were set in place so he could co-parent with his ex-wife and be a present father and role model for his children.

Alabama Barker started her music career at the age of 12

Alabama Barker first followed in her father's footsteps in 2017 when she was 12 years old releasing singles such as "Our House" and "Heartbreaker." During an interview for "KTLA 5," Alabama shared when she first started thinking about music, "It was when I watched him on tour since I was very little, and I used to be like, 'Oh, I want to go on stage.'" It was then that she asked for singing lessons and her dad agreed to it.

"I'm extremely proud of her," said Travis. "She's seen everything from punk rock tours to the most extravagant awards ceremonies like the Grammys ... She understands all that ... and she is great in the studio. She has amazing studio etiquette and she is a really hard worker."

To this day, Alabama continues to work on her music. However, in April 2023 there was some controversy after she shared a snippet of her newest song through TikTok. According to "92.7wobm," many followers commented she was "trying to be Black" and she shouldn't be rapping about getting through daily struggles when she was born into a life of luxury.

Atiana De La Hoya is still very close to Travis Barker

When Travis Barker married Shanna Moakler she already had a daughter from a previous relationship. Through their marriage, Travis helped raise Atiana De La Hoya and his relationship with Atiana continued even after the divorce. She always celebrated him alongside her biological father. In 2019, she posted on Instagram for Father's Day and said, "Happy Father's Day @travisbarker! Thank you for always putting us first and being there for me no matter what. love you so much."

Travis has always reciprocated the love and included her with her biological children. "I love being a Dad more than anything, best thing to have ever happened in my entire life. Love you Alabama, Landon and Atiana," he tweeted. This is something Atiana's biological father, Oscar De La Hoya, has always supported. During an Instagram Q&A, he said, "I have nothing but respect for my man @travisbarker" (via US Weekly).

Atiana has also been seen on different TV shows and realities such as "Meet the Barkers," "Growing Up Supermodel," "MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown," and "The Kardashians."
