From getting arrested on her wedding day to having a love triangle between two men, Georgia has complicated relationships on the Netflix show, "Ginny & Georgia." Luckily for Brianne Howey, her real-life romances aren't so troubled. Howey is in a loving relationship with her husband, Matt Ziering.
Howey and Ziering met about five years before they decided to tie the knot in 2021, per People. Initially, the couple was supposed to get married in 2020, but of course, with the pandemic, they had to push it back. Unlike in "Ginny and Georgia" this wedding didn't end with the police taking away the bride but instead was picturesque as they said "I do" in Palos Verdes, California. Howey told People, "It was the most beautiful feeling to be surrounded by so many people we love. The night was more magical than I could have ever imagined." The couple looked madly in love as the "The Passage" actor shared a post of her and Ziering sharing a sweet kiss on their special day. She captioned the photo, "7.24.21," aka the day she went from Miss to Mrs.
As the years have passed since their wedding, "Ginny and Georgia" has become a massive hit. Matt Ziering is a lawyer
Georgia could probably use Matt Ziering's help in the upcoming season of "Ginny and Georgia," because he is actually a lawyer. According to The U.S. Sun, Ziering attended Loyola Marymount University. Although it's unclear what degree he obtained, he went on to become a lawyer. His LinkedIn profile reveals that he has been a regulatory advisor for Casey Co. since 2017. According to the Casey Co. website, their workers tend to provide and deal with the various documents required for legal proceedings.
Ziering is sure to be incredibly busy with his demanding job, and his wife, Brianne Howey, is sure to be the same. However, the two continue to make sure their romance stays alive through fun outings. In 2014, Howey revealed to Complex, "I live with my boyfriend, and we see lots of movies. I love going to farmer's markets, they're my favorite thing in the world. I just think they're so fun; you get little samples and you can buy flowers and fruit and stuff."
Filming a project, especially something as successful as "Ginny & Georgia," can be hectic, so it's surprising that the couple continues to have time for one another. Matt Ziering is going from dog dad to actual dad
When the pandemic hit Brianne Howey and Matt Ziering did what many people had done during lockdown — they adopted a dog. The "Ginny and Georgia" star told People, "We canceled our wedding. We couldn't get married in 2020 but we did get a dog." The two welcomed the Australian shepherd mix back in March 2020. Howey shared on Instagram, "Quarantine day 11... welp we have a puppy now! Meet bodie." Since they adopted Bodie, they have all been attached at the hip. From family road trips to dressing up on Halloween, the three have become their own little family. In October 2021, the actor shared a post of the three cuddling in bed with the caption, "#tbt family portrait." But, Howey and Ziering will have to take an updated family portrait soon because they are expecting their first child.
Soon, Ziering will not just have a fur baby, but an actual baby. In March 2023, three years after getting Bodie, the "Dollface" actor revealed she and the lawyer are expecting. She shared, "@boss show with my forever new +1 thanks for having us! Loved every second of the new collection #hugoboss." Ziering has his Instagram set to private, so it's unclear if he shared his own sweet post about the news. Regardless, the lawyer is bound to be ecstatic to welcome a little one with the love of his life, Howey.
