Denver Nuggets' Michael Porter Jr. Was Once Romantically Linked To A Former Bachelor Star

NBA player Michael Porter Jr. previously had a relationship with a reality TV star. The 24-year-old Denver Nuggets forward is a Missouri native, per the NBA, and he was drafted by Denver back in 2018. Then in 2021, Porter Jr. entered into a five-year extension deal with the team, as reported by ESPN. The sports network stated that reporter Adrian Wojnarowski learned this from Porter Jr.'s agent, Mark Bartelstein. Bartelstein also revealed that the value of the extension could have reached as high as $207 million.

Additionally, Porter Jr. has made headlines aside from his basketball accomplishments. Back in 2017, he told the Kansas City Star that he was dating actor Madison Pettis. The pro athlete discussed how he and the "Game Plan" star navigated communicating amid their hectic schedules. "Part of it has to do with, she's in the public eye, and I'm in the public eye," Porter Jr. said. "We realize that we're both busy people, so we don't have to always be texting. I could just give her a phone call at night, and she'll be fine with it." After this union, Porter Jr. went on to date another public figure.

Michael Porter Jr. and Madison Prewett were reportedly an item

Michael Porter Jr. reportedly dated former "The Bachelor" cast member Madison Prewett. In October 2020, Us Weekly reported that Porter Jr. and Prewett, along with Porter Jr.'s sister and brother-in-law, documented their night out for a double date. "My fave double date," Porter Jr.'s sister, Bri, wrote alongside a picture of the four together in a now-deleted Instagram post. In response Prewett said, "Love you," and added heart emojis. During the outing, Porter Jr. and Prewett "were seen holding hands in the parking lot," Reality Steve wrote via Twitter. The TV reporter also said that the date took place in Porter Jr.'s hometown of Columbia, Missouri.

Sadly, the rumored relationship didn't last, as Prewett stated that she was single in an April 2021 video she posted on her YouTube channel. "I definitely was in a relationship for about eight months or so, but it just didn't work out," Prewett said. "It wasn't the right time. Who knows what the future holds?" She went on to say that she'd recently "been on a few dates." In the years following this breakup, Porter Jr. and Prewett have found success in their personal and professional lives.

Michael Porter Jr. and Madison Prewett are both thriving since their breakup

Rumored exes Michael Porter Jr. and Madison Prewett have both moved on. In May 2022, Prewett opened up about her relationship with Grant Troutt, which had been going on for five months at that point, she said via Instagram. "Full of highs and lows but there's nobody else in the world I'd rather do life with," Prewett said alongside photos of herself and Troutt. She added, "There's nobody else in the world like you." Later that year, Prewett shared on Instagram that she and Troutt had tied the knot. "It's like heaven knew I needed you. 10.29.22," she captioned images from the couple's big day.

Meanwhile, Porter Jr.'s relationship status hasn't been revealed recently. The basketball star has remained dedicated to his NBA career, and his latest Instagram post celebrated his team's March 2023 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. "Fall down 7 times, get up 8! Big W last night," Porter Jr. wrote while sharing photos from the game. As Porter Jr. and the rest of the Denver Nuggets prepared to play Miami in the NBA Finals, Porter Jr. visited the "Old Man and the Three" podcast in May 2023. He spoke about his gratitude for making it to the finals after having gone through three back surgeries.
