Jennifer Garner Reportedly Dating Businessman John Miller Following Ben Affleck Divorce

Actress Jennifer Garner is moving forward following her divorce from ex-husband and actor Ben Affleck.

According to an Us Weekly exclusive, published on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, the Love, Simon actress has reportedly been in a secret relationship with CaliGroup CEO John Miller for months.

As a source cited by the magazine claimed, "They've been together six months — and it's getting pretty serious." Meanwhile, another insider told the media outlet, "Jen brings out the best in John, and he is the happiest he has probably ever been. It's a loving, healthy relationship."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Garner, 46, and Affleck, also 46, first separated in 2015 after ten years of marriage. However, they didn't file for divorce until two years later. The former couple officially finalized their divorce earlier this month after Garner reportedly requested that a private judge handle their divorce proceedings in order to speed up the process. The Camping actress and the Justice League star share three children together: Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.

Meanwhile, Miller, 40, has two children — a 12-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter — from his previous marriage to Caroline Campbell, a concert violinist. According to another Us Weekly report, the estranged exes called it quits in 2014, but have yet to finalize their divorce.

As for Garner and Miller's blossoming romance, Entertainment Tonight reports that the alleged couple began spending time together after meeting through mutual friends. However, it sounds like these two were intent on keeping things private. "They went for romantic dinners far out of town or at his home," a source told the publication. "He is warm, fun and incredibly smart. He is a real success in the business world and has no interest in being in the entertainment industry."

For his part, Affleck reportedly couldn't be happier about his famous ex's rumored relationship with the tech company mogul. According to another source recently cited by Us Weekly, "Ben and Jen have immense love and respect for one another. They still co-parent together and that will always come first. He will always be supportive of any decisions she makes and ultimately just wants her to be happy."

Readers may be aware that the Batman star is currently working hard on maintaining his sobriety. Affleck, who first went to rehab back in 2001 before quietly seeking treatment for alcohol abuse last year, returned to rehab again in late August 2018. As TMZ reported at the time, Garner drove her ex-husband to a live-in rehab facility in Los Angeles county after staging an intervention. After completing a 40-day stint to treat his longtime battle with alcohol addiction, Affleck broke his silence on the matter with a lengthy text post on Instagram in early October.

While thanking his family, co-stars, and fans for their continued support, the Oscar-winner revealed that he planned to continue his treatment in outpatient care. "Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle," Affleck wrote to his four million followers. "Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family." Adding that he appreciated all of those who had reached out to share their own journeys toward sobriety, Affleck continued, "It helps to know I am not alone. As I've had to remind myself, if you have a problem, getting help is a sign of courage, not weakness or failure."

"With acceptance and humility, I continue to avail myself with the help of so many people and I am grateful to all those who are there for me," he concluded his message. "I hope down the road I can offer an example to others who are struggling."

Prior to his most recent stay at rehab, Affleck was romantically linked with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton after calling it quits with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus. These days, in addition to making his sobriety a priority, Affleck's been spending quality time with his amicable ex, Garner, and their children, as well as focusing on getting back to work. Just this week, the actor began filming his new movie, Torrance, in Los Angeles.
