Camila Cabello Addresses Pregnancy Rumors
Singer Camila Cabello is setting the record straight.
On Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, the "Crying in the Club" hitmaker was forced to address a recent round of pregnancy rumors, which she inadvertently sparked on Instagram earlier in the day.
"You're still the only thing I did right," Cabello wrote to her 25.8 million followers, captioning a snapshot in which one of her hands could be seen cradling her stomach. According to E! News, a number of social media users quickly began to speculate on whether this meant the "Havana" singer and her dating coach boyfriend, Matthew Hussey, were expecting their first child together.
However, Cabello didn't let the speculation linger for very long. "Guys don't be crazy," she later wrote in the comments section. "I'VE BEEN TOURING AMERICA EATING DELICIOUS FOODS LEAVE ME AND MY BELLY ALONE!!!!!!" Well said.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Cabello, 21, has been romantically linked with Hussey, 31, since the two were spotted vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico together in February 2018. The former Fifth Harmony pop star opened up about her love life during an appearance on The Dan Wootton Interview podcast the following month. "I am really, really happy ... I feel like I've never been happier in my life," she said at the time, while remaining mum on her reported boyfriend. Cabello, who's been performing as an opening act on pal Taylor Swift's Reputation tour for the better part of 2018, went on to note that she felt like she was on "cloud nine."
Unfortunately, Cabello isn't the only celeb who's had to shoot down baby bump speculation this week. On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory clapped back at social media trolls who'd made pregnancy assumptions based on her look at the InStyle Awards the night before. "Now, would you ever walk up to someone on the street or at an event where they're obviously dressed up and say, 'Are you pregnant?' It's just so comedic and shocking that people would ask that," the actress, who married equestrian Karl Cook in June 2018, said on her Instagram Stories (via People). Leaving no room for doubt, Cuoco added, "I'm not pregnant. I guess it was a pregnant angle. Seriously, shut up."
