The Untold Truth Of Dog The Bounty Hunter's New Girlfriend

Dog the Bounty Hunter has found himself in quite a bit of drama ever since he jumped back into the dating pool after wife Beth Chapman's untimely death in June 2019. Now, fans are blasting him for going public with his new girlfriend, Francie Frane. However, those close to him couldn't be more excited about this latest life update.

The Dog's Most Wanted star — whose real name is Duane Chapman — unveiled his new relationship in late March 2020 by posing with Frane in a series of photos obtained by The Sun. According to the outlet, Frane is a rancher from Colorado, who, like Dog, lost her partner to cancer. Dog's daughter Lyssa Chapman and their close family friend Rainy Robinson told the outlet that Dog is head-over-heels and they're so happy for him.

The lovebirds have reportedly been dating for a few months. They met after Dog called Frane's now-late husband Bob to do some yard work at his Colorado house, and Frane had to tell the reality star that Bob had passed. After that, the pair began talking on the phone and formed a solid friendship by helping one another through their grief.

Eventually, things turned romantic. As Lyssa said, "They are both so happy together and they are good for each other. Francie has been very respectful to all the kids — and to Beth's memory — and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children."

Is Francie Frane the next Mrs. Dog?

Though it's early on in the relationship, Francie Frane and Dog the Bounty Hunter have already begun blending their families. "They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking — she is a good woman for my dad," Lyssa Chapman told The Sun. "He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time — he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie."

While online haters have slammed Dog for seemingly moving on too soon after Beth Chapman's death, his kids disagree and have already given Frane their seal of approval. "Beth would approve — I honestly believe that Beth sent Francie for my dad — I feel like Beth and Bob are up there watching down over them," Lyssa said.

Dog's daughter is so happy for the new couple that she even posted a photo of them on her Instagram. "How cute are these two ?!" she wrote.

Dog and Frane posted the same photo on their accounts, with Frane writing: "So excited for this new chapter!" Her post before that was a photo of herself with her late husband.

Dog the Bounty Hunter had a bizarre relationship with Moon Angell

Prior to meeting Francie Frane, and just a few months after Beth Chapman died of throat cancer, Dog the Bounty Hunter was rumored to be dating Moon Angell, Beth's former assistant and longtime friend.

Though he repeatedly denied anything romantic was going on between them, he contradicted himself by proposing to Moon on live TV during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show in early 2020 (via Entertainment Tonight). Moon said no, but Dog still received backlash — not only from his fans, but from his children.

Lyssa Chapman — the same Lyssa that is now fully supporting her dad in his relationship with Frane — took to Twitter to slam Moon, claiming that not only did the woman betray Beth's trust by going after Dog, but she also once dated Dog's son!

"If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step- mom died what would you do?" Lyssa wrote, according to Page Six. "If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho."

Dog the Bounty Hunter admitted he was lonely without Beth

Dog the Bounty Hunter eventually admitted that while nothing romantic happened between him and Moon Angell, he would have made a move on her if she had let him. That's because, after Beth Chapman's death, he felt extremely lonely, according to Daily Mail

As fans may recall, Dog was hospitalized for a "broken heart" just days after Beth's death (via Page Six). He also admitted on the season finale of Dog's Most Wanted that he didn't feel like he could live much longer without her (per People).

Now, it seems Dog has found a new partner to share his life with: Francie Frane. "Let's see if we can show this bounty hunting tough guy how to run some equipment, like us country folks do !!" Frane captioned a sweet shot of a smiling Dog on her Instagram on April 15, 2020. Could these two look any happier?
