Whatever Happened To Mackenzie Foy From Twilight?

Diehard Twilight fans will never forget Mackenzie Foy, who played Renesmee in both Breaking Dawn films in the saga. After all, she portrayed the half-human, half-vampire offspring of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a.k.a. the closest Robsten shippers will ever get to a real-life love child between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Since there was that whole creepy "imprinting" relationship between Jacob and Renesmee, remember that Foy was only 11 when Breaking Dawn — Part 1 was released in 2011. Now, in 2020, the 19-year-old actor-model is a high school graduate with an IMDb page chock-full of credentials that would awe anyone.

And luckily for us, Foy has opened up about her post-Twilight career, including her current relationship with her Twilight mom and dad. She also has an Instagram worthy of a "normal" teen — and a movie star.

Read on to find out what Foy has been up to since her Twilight days.

Mackenzie Foy keeps in touch with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2018, Mackenzie Foy revealed that she still talks to her Twilight parents, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. "I do. I do try to," she divulged. "They were just amazing people. I have so many wonderful memories just working with them and hanging out with them. So I do try to talk to them."

Back in 2011, Foy had nothing but positive things to say to MTV about her co-stars, gushing about how amazing it was to work with Stewart, and how she thinks of Pattinson as a father figure — just like in the movie (aww). "I don't see [Robert Pattinson] as cute," she told the outlet at the time. "He's really nice and all, but he's more of a friend or a brother or a dad to me."

As for Stewart, Foy added to MTV, "Kristen is an amazing, sweet, wonderful actress and I'm so lucky to be working with her." Fast forward to March 2018, and Foy and Stewart caught up at a Chanel event, ELLE reported. The two even posed for a much-needed updated photo of the on-screen "mother/daughter" pair.

Mackenzie Foy has an impressive AF résumé

Since her days as Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy has racked up a number of starring roles on the silver screen, as per IMDb.

In addition to parts in The Conjuring and Interstellar, Mackenzie Foy also lent her voice to a number of different animated roles, like The Little Girl in The Little Prince and Violet in The Boxcar Children. Her biggest starring role, however, was undoubtedly as Clara in Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. She worked with such big screen legends as Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, and Morgan Freeman.

As of November 2019, she wrapped filming on Black Beauty, the production of which she documented heavily on her Instagram account. "That's a wrap for me!!!" she wrote alongside a photo of herself quite literally riding off into the sunset. "Thank you so much to every single person that I had the pleasure to work with. Everyday was full of love and happiness! This has truly been an adventure!"

Mackenzie Foy is just a regular, Disney-obsessed teen

Mackenzie Foy's Instagram is a mix between her personal life and professional life, sharing photos of herself at red carpet premieres alongside pictures chillin' at home with her pup. It's the perfect microcosm for how her actual life is divided up.

"I have work Mackenzie and home Mackenzie," she reflected in 2018 (via The Daily Mail). "My childhood has been normal, fun. I hang out with friends and do high school things like go to dances and football games."

Indeed, her Insta has shown her doing every activity from carving jack-o'-lanterns to posing at Disneyland. And speaking of Disney, Mackenzie is pretty into the magic. She graduated from high school in 2019, complete with rhinestone-encrusted Mickey Mouse ears on her cap, which she shared on Instagram. She's also been to the Anaheim, Calif.-based park numerous times if her Insta is anything to go by, even celebrating her 18th birthday there.
