Khloe Kardashian Got Many Warnings About Tristan Thompson. Here's Why
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are once again making headlines, but fortunately, this time it's positive coverage. As reported by People, Kardashian took to her Instagram Story on Father's Day 2020 to share a photo of Thompson and their daughter, True, in matching camouflage outfits. Instead of the cliché, sappy post a mother might reserve for the father of her offspring on the holiday, the reality television star kept the caption short and sweet. "You two are definitely twins @realtristan13," she wrote.
While it appears the co-parents are in a much better place with one another currently, it goes without saying it has been a long journey to get where they are today. One can't help but reflect on the tumultuous and rocky relationship between the two and the glaring red flags Kardashian either ignored or was blinded by from the moment she laid eyes on the professional athlete.

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson fell fast and hard
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's courtship moved VERY quickly. According to a report by People in 2016, the couple was first linked together on Labor Day weekend of that year. A source revealed to the magazine that the pair was a "mini-thing," and they liked each other and were simply hanging out for the time being. But less than a year after that, in April of 2017, Kardashian was quoted as saying that she was ready to have kids with the basketball star.
Fast-forward to December of 2017 when the couple announced their pregnancy on Instagram. "My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along," Kardashian wrote. "He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can't believe that our love created life!" In the black-and-white photo, Thompson cradled Kardashian's baby bump in his hands.
Tristan Thompson was a father-to-be when he and Khloé Kardashian met
Tristan Thompson was rumored to have been intimately involved with Khloé Kardashian long before ending his relationship with Jordan Craig, who also happened to be pregnant with Thompson's son at the time. As reported by Us Weekly, Kardashian's famous sisters were very vocal about their disdain for how the relationship started.
A source told In Touch Weekly that the family warned her, "If Tristan cheats on his pregnant girlfriend with you, he will cheat on you with another woman. But Khloé doesn't listen to her family when it comes to love. She can't seem to pick the right man."
The same source also revealed that even after cheating rumors surfaced while Kardashian was pregnant in early 2018, she was hesitant to confront him with the allegations. "Khloé is scared to push Tristan because she doesn't want him to break up with her and leave her pregnant and alone. She's really afraid that Tristan will get tired of her, like he did with Jordan, and she'll become just another one of his baby mamas."
Unfortunately for the Keeping Up reality star, history did in fact repeat itself.
Tristan Thompson was caught cheating days before Khloé Kardashian gave birth
As reported by Us Weekly, mere days before Khloé Kardashian was expected to give birth, photos surfaced of the athlete caught red-handed with a woman identified as Lani Blair. In the photos, Thompson was seen making out with the Instagram model into the wee hours of the night. A short time later, TMZ also published video footage of Thompson that also depicts the soon again father to be in an unfavorable light as the pair headed to a hotel together.
Once the news broke, a source claimed to Page Six that Kardashian "was devastated when she saw the pictures of Tristan with that girl, she went absolutely ballistic at him. She is not only hurt, she is humiliated and worried for their child. How could he do this, and so publicly, when their baby daughter could arrive within a week?"
Another source, however, reported the exact opposite in an interview with Us Weekly, citing that the cheating rumors were furthest from the mother-to-be's mind. "Khloé is focusing on delivering a healthy baby. She doesn't want to deal with any of these rumors regarding Tristan kissing another woman," the insider said.
Lest we not forget Jordyn Woods
And just when we thought our favorite Kardashian sister had learned to forgive AND forget Tristan Thompson's indiscretions, she was hit again with a major blow. Hollywood Unlocked initially broke the story, alleging Thompson and longtime family friend, Jordyn Woods, enjoyed a wild and steamy night together.
A source claimed both Thompson and Woods were hanging out at the same party when suddenly they became very handsy: "Thompson and Woods were all over each other, and, it wasn't just 'friendly.' They couldn't keep their hands off of each other." The source also added that Woods did not leave the party in question until 7 the next morning.
Once the news broke, Thompson tried his best stab at damage control by taking to Twitter and referring to the coverage as "FAKE NEWS," but quickly deleted the post. Khloé Kardashian, on the other hand, immediately had all images of the former Good American model removed from her clothing site. But it was older sister Kim Kardashian who jumped at the chance to get a bit petty. According to People, the makeup mogul rushed to her sister's defense by posting videos of herself and Malika Haqq singing along to the lyrics of Brandy's hit, "Who Is She 2 U."
So, after all the heartbreak Kardashian has endured, is it really possible that she's once again putting on rose-colored glasses and sliding back into old habits with the father of her only child? Only time will tell.
