Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Post-Wedding Dilemma: Where Will They Call Their 'Forever Home'?

Now that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot, it's hard not to wonder where the two will finally settle down. They certainly have a hefty real-estate portfolio to choose from (mostly thanks to Swift's contributions) and have more than enough means to expand. Swift and Kelce have a combined $157 million in property. Kelce's $6 million mansion in Leawood, Kansas, is one of his only pieces in their impressive array of homes. However, it's not surprising Swift is pulling the weight here, as it cannot be denied that she is, in fact, a global superstar with a net worth of more than $2 billion, making her the richest female musician to date. Despite having several options for their humble abode, it seems the couple is eager to invest in a place together, adding to their growing collection of homes.

An insider told the Daily Mail, "They want a place that's theirs from day one. This is their fresh start. They're not building Taylor's life or Travis's life anymore. They're building one life — together." They claimed Swift and Kelce are looking for a possible new home in California. "Montecito might be a nice place to settle down," the insider shared. Montecito, which lies outside of Los Angeles, is home to many celebs, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (although it's been announced that the royals will be making their return to the UK soon). The ritzy seaside town hidden between mountains and shrouded in lush greenery is perfect for the privacy and seclusion the famous duo need.

Taylor Swift has enough houses for her hubby (and possibly an entire village)

In 2025, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were house-hunting in Hunting Valley, Ohio. It doesn't seem anything came from their trip, but the house they were eyeing could provide insight into what they might be looking for in their new home. The gorgeous $18 million mansion is heavily guarded by trees and shrubbery, making it incredibly private, and features a recording studio, which might be perfect for Swift's work-from-home days. That house might've been too secluded and rural for the celebrity couple's taste, though. Montecito definitely seems more up their alley, especially with the abundance of other celebrities in the area.

However, given Swift's expansive eight properties, the two can afford to take their time searching for their dream forever home. The singer has been investing in properties since the start of her career and now has quite the unique collection. Swift's Rhode Island home has been the host for a number of her Fourth of July gatherings and her bachelorette party location. Beyond that, Swift naturally has a number of homes in New York City. Her love of Manhattan didn't stop at "Welcome to New York," as she famously went on to have her wedding at one of New York's most iconic stadiums, Madison Square Garden. Her most impressive New York City purchase has to be her 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom Tribeca penthouse, bought from "The Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson.
