Sam Elliott's Daughter Cleo Rose Grew Up To Be Gorgeous
Sam Elliott may be best known for his physically demanding Western roles, deep voice, and fabulous mustache, but the acclaimed actor is also a proud father. Older fans may remember when Elliott married Katharine Ross, and welcomed their only daughter, Cleo Rose, in the '80s. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Cleo stepped on the red carpet next to her famous parents a few times. But the little girl of the "Landman" star and his real-life partner is now in her 40s, and she grew up to be a stunner like her mom and dad.
Cleo maintains a pretty active presence on social media, offering plenty of insight into what she looks like today. As the photo below shows, Cleo takes strongly after Ross. She has the same striking green eyes as "The Graduate" star, as well as her high cheek bones and overall facial structure. They also share the same smile. Social media users see the resemblance, too. "You're so beautiful just like her!" an Instagram user commented under the post below.
Other fans see a resemblance with Elliott, while still noting how much she looks like Ross. "Girl you're lucky — you have inheri[t]ed the beauty from both o[f] your parents!" another Instagram user wrote on a photo from November 2025. The netizen wasn't alone in this thought. "Gosh the combination of a child from Sam Elliot and Katherine Ross is like a dream child!! Such a beautiful family!" a second fan gushed under that photo. Cleo clearly hit the genetic lottery.

Cleo Rose Elliott's chance of growing up to be gorgeous was higher than the average person's, having the genetics of Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross on her side. And she knows exactly how to enhance that natural beauty. For starters, she isn't afraid to experiment. Cleo has played around with different hair colors, including a bright pink shade (below) she was bold enough to rock on the red carpet for the "A Star Is Born" premiere in 2018. To make it even more daring, she paired it with a long white gown, with silver detailing embroidered throughout that made her look like a bohemian princess.

Across her socials, Cleo shows off her sense of style now and again. She has embraced bleach-blonde hair with dark roots, wearing it loose and barely styled for a more casual look. But she definitely plays around. In August 2026, she posed for a photo with her father, Sam, showing off the pink streaks in her platinum blonde hair, which she styled in a wrap-over headband braid. On TikTok, Cleo also used to share her makeup routine with her followers, giving insight into her beauty preferences.
In an August 2024 video, she walked viewers through the steps she takes to nail her natural makeup look, focusing largely on the skin and eyebrows, while leaving her eyes pretty much untouched. Similarly, she showed off her "ethereal makeup" in a July 2023 clip that also demonstrated she prefers a soft, more natural look, even when glamming up. Cleo's a natural beauty, for sure, and she knows how to make the best of what she's got.
