Inside Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer's Relationship With Her Sister, Victoria

When 16 & Pregnant fans first met Leah Messer, she was in a relationship with Corey Simms, the father of her then-unborn twin girls. The two split up shortly after the babies — Aleeah "Gracie" Grace and Aliannah "Ali" Hope — were born in 2009, but in 2010, they got married. The marriage was shortlived, as Leah ended up cheating on Corey with her first love, Robbie. Although Robbie and Leah didn't work out, she found love again with Jeremy Calvert, the father of her third daughter. But it wasn't meant to be, with the two divorcing in 2015. Leah is now co-parents with Corey and Jeremy, as seen on Teen Mom 2.

Clearly, Leah's romantic connections take center stage on the MTV series, but, as of Season 10, the focus is on the relationship she has with her younger sister, Victoria Messer (pictured right). Victoria, who has appeared on the show before, became pregnant with her third child in 2019, conceiving the baby during a trip to Costa Rica. Royer, the child's father, is a native of Costa Rica and was Victoria's rafting guide. The couple's son made his debut in January 2020, with Royer missing the birth due to visa issues.

Speaking of visas, Leah is sponsoring Royer so he can come to the United States. It's a big gesture, to say the least, as this means the reality star is financially responsible for him during the immigration process. But as we expand on below, Leah would do just about anything for her beloved sister.

Leah Messer was in the delivery room with her sister

As Leah Messer stated during an October 2020 episode of Teen Mom 2, Royer couldn't attend the birth of his son due to the "immigration process," per In Touch Weekly. So Leah stepped up to support Victoria during labor, even sharing a photo on Instagram of herself in the delivery room. "We're so in love with you Caí River Rodríguez," Leah captioned the shot. "Im so proud of you sister!"

Leah and Victoria have always been tight, with the reality star treating her little sis to the perks of starring on MTV. "So glad we enjoyed your first trip to NYC together!" Leah captioned an April 2019 pic with Victoria. "I hope it wasn't too busy and you had fun." Victoria seems to appreciate her sister's influence, writing alongside a snap of the two, "She keeps me safe, I keep her wild." Leah commented on the post, "This is a fact. I love you."

It's not clear whether Royer will make it to the United States, but it's likely Leah will have Victoria's back no matter what. "I'm 100% stepping up to support my sister in Royer's absence," Leah said during a September 2020 episode of TM2. Talk about an unbreakable bond.
