This Is Why You Won't See Cynthia Bailey's Wedding On Real Housewives

After 14 months of dating and then getting engaged in July of 2019, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey and Fox sportscaster Mike Hill finally tied the knot! The couple, who met on the set of The Steve Harvey Show, wed on Oct. 10, 2020, in front of 250 guests at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Ga., People reported. But one notable guest was supposedly missing — Bravo. Considering the network loves a good wedding, it was surprising that a crew wasn't on hand to film the momentous occasion.

Of the wedding, Cynthia told People that the couple was adamant about making sure their wedding guests' safety was their top priority. The couple had the venue deep cleaned before the ceremony, and guests were required to have their temperature taken and must have washed their hands before entering the wedding venue. The wedding attendees were all required to abide by social distancing guidelines during the festivities, and masks were also mandatory at all times during the couple's ceremony. On top of that, TMZ reported all guests had to provide negative COVID-19 tests within five days of the event.

Even though the couple had taken all the appropriate precautions, Bravo still ended up being a no show. Keep reading to find out why.

COVID-19 kept Bravo from Cynthia Bailey's big day

A chain of unfortunate events reportedly led Bravo to abandon its plans to film Cynthia's and Mike's wedding. It all started when the couple moved the outdoor wedding inside in anticipation of Hurricane Delta, according to TMZAt that point, Bravo's crew decided to nix filming, as the network supposedly did not feel comfortable about filming indoors due to coronavirus concerns. However, fans need not worry as Cynthia reportedly hired a camera crew and provided footage for the network to include in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta

It's no surprise Cynthia went the extra mile, despite this being the second marriage for her Cynthia and Mike. "This is not our first rodeo," Cynthia told People in October 2020. "Both Mike and I have been married before — but we are ready to ride!" Luckily for the reality star, her RHOA costars — Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Eva Marcille — came along for the "ride" as her bridesmaids. "I couldn't imagine my day without them," Bailey told People.

Although Bailey reportedly gave Bravo her wedding footage, it remains unclear whether it will make the final cut. TBD!
