Anfisa Nava From 90 Day Fiance Has A Surprising New Career

Russia-born Anfisa Nava, formerly of 90 Day Fiancé fame, is probably best remembered for the tense relationship she had with her then-boyfriend, Jorge Nava. Part of the issue had to do with Anfisa's temporary inability to work, as per the regulations of her 90-day visa. Although that seemed to suit Anfisa just fine, it didn't sit too well with Jorge's family, who questioned whether she was a gold digger. As for Jorge, he struggled to support Anfisa's desire for a luxurious lifestyle, despite promising her ideal of the American dream.

Anfisa and Jorge stuck around on TLC for a few seasons, but like many 90 Day couples, they ultimately broke up. The split went down after Jorge landed in prison in September 2018 for felony marijuana possession, with the California native dropping a ton of weight during his incarceration. By the time of Jorge's release in May 2020, he and Anfisa were done for good. Anfisa, on the other hand, got herself a new boyfriend and decided to pursue her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Irvine, according to The Blast

So has Anfisa secured a new job amid her college journey? Read on to find out all about the reality star's surprising career pivot.

Anfisa Nava turned a hobby into a job

When Jorge Nava officially filed for divorce in August 2020, Anfisa Nava did what many people do when they get out of a difficult relationship — she started working out and had a glow up. Her new hobby quickly turned into a passion that then morphed into a profitable career.

Anfisa eventually moved into to compete in fitness competitions, and to keep her body stage ready, she reportedly works out six days a week and watches what she eats. All that hard work paid off because Anfisa has won many bodybuilding competitions since beginning her fitness journey. She swept all of the beauty contests in the 2019 Patriots Challenge in Las Vegas and scored the coveted title of overall champion in the Unlimited Bikini Category. The former reality star took things a step further and became a certified personal trainer in 2019, per In Touch Weekly.

Besides the prize money, though, Anfisa found a way to monetize her bodybuilding passion. In June 2020, she launched a fitness app to help others get in shape and stay healthy. Talk about a positive transformation!
