The Rom-Com Chrishell Stause And Justin Hartley Starred In Before Divorce
Many saw the breakup of reality TV star Chrishell Stause and actor Justin Hartley play out on Netflix's Selling Sunset, but that wasn't the only time the pair's relationship got captured on screen.
But first, let's rewind: Stause was starring on Days of Our Lives in 2013 when she met Hartley, who was filming fellow soap The Young and the Restless. After a co-star introduced the two, it was an intense connection, with Hartley telling People in 2017, "I knew right away [and] was like, 'Oh boy, here we go.'" After three years of dating, the two got engaged in August 2016, before tying the knot in October 2017. Things seemed to be getting better and better for the couple, with Hartley's career taking off thanks to his role in the popular NBC drama This Is Us and Stause landing the Netflix reality hit Selling Sunset. In fact, it was Selling Sunset where fans watched the divorce drama between Stause and Hartley play out. When TMZ broke the news of their split in November 2019, Stause got filmed telling co-star Mary Fitzgerald, "I found out because he texted me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew. If that's really what you wanted, there are better ways to go about it."
The romance, or the dissolution of it, was seen by millions, but at one point, the two showcased a different kind of love story.

Actor Justin Hartley and reality TV star Chrishell Stause's divorce drama may be what comes to mind when you think of the twosome now, but in 2018 they starred in a movie together called Another Time.
According to House Beautiful, in the romantic comedy, Hartley plays an investment banker named "Eric" who falls in love with Stause's character "Julia" during a work project. However, Julia is already engaged to someone else, so Eric decides to go back in time to win her over before she gets married. Another Time debuted in April 2018, and Soaps reported it hit select theaters that September of that year. It appears the exes filmed and promoted the movie when they were still in love, with the former Dancing with the Stars contestant even sharing her excitement on Twitter. She wrote, "Out TODAY!!! In select theaters and everywhere on demand!! @anothertimethemovie Was so much fun to work with this cast. I MAY be partial to one?" referring to her romance with Hartley.
Hartley has reportedly moved on with former co-star Sofia Pernas, while Stause remains single as of this writing. For those of you who miss the chemistry between Hartley and Stause, you can still stream Another Time on Hulu. It might not have worked out between the two in real life, but we still have the movies!
