Larissa Lima Says This 90 Day Fiance Storyline Wasn't Entirely True

After reportedly being fired from 90 Day Fiancé in September 2020, Larissa Dos Santos Lima accused the show of fabricating details of her plastic surgery to get reactions out of viewers. Larissa had become a fan-favorite on the show prior to her departure. She made her debut on Season 6 while in her tumultuous relationship with her now ex-husband Colt Johnson. After a series of physical fights and domestic violence arrests, Colt filed for divorce in January 2019, E! News reported.

Following her split from Colt, Larissa moved on with her ex Eric Nichols. In July 2020, she captioned a photo of the pair saying, "it's official." Though the couple was filming at the time of their reunion, their time on 90 Day Fiancé was short-lived. Two months after confirming their reconciliation, the Brazil native took to social media to inform her fans that she was let go from the show due to her x-rated live stream session, Us Weekly reported.

The truth behind Larissa Dos Santos Lima's plastic surgery

"Dear Friends and Followers, I want to make a statement for you, I'm no longer a cast member of the show '90 Day Fiancé,'" Larissa Dos Santos Lima captioned a since-deleted Instagram post captured by Us Weekly. "Because of my show with CamSoda, I was released from my contract with TLC by phone the day before ICE arrested me." Since being fired, Larissa has been more outspoken about her time working with the network.

Her last storyline on the show featured her and Eric Nichols' reconciliation, as well as her pleas for him to cover her $70,000 plastic surgery glow-up under the agreement that she would pay him back. However, according to Larissa, Eric's involvement in her surgery funds was fabricated by the network for drama.

While doing a Q&A on her Instagram Story in fall 2020, Larissa responded to a fan who asked if she paid Eric back for funding her surgery. "The surgery thing was created by the show to get people talking about [it]," she claimed, as noted by CinemaBlend. When asked who paid for it if not Eric, Larissa replied, "I paid myself. I always have income. My Cameos was $100." Regardless of who paid for the surgery, Larissa doesn't seem to care what sacrifice she has to make to show it off.
