The Bachelorette: The Unexpected Contestant Who Returned For Men Tell All
In typical Bachelor Nation fashion, Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette wound down with a Men Tell All episode. The episode was especially intense considering Tayshia's season was unlike any other. It began with Clare Crawley as the leading lady, but she left abruptly after finding love with contestant Dale Moss. Not only was filming initially stalled and then altered because of the coronavirus pandemic, but fans got two leading Bachelorettes. So yeah, it was eventful ... and so was the Men Tell All.
First of all, Clare wasn't in attendance, begging the question: Should she have been invited? It would have given her a chance to share her side of what happened, especially with a little more distance from her eventful weeks of filming. While Clare reportedly wasn't invited, one unexpected contestant was in attendance: Yosef Aborady. For anyone who doesn't remember, Yosef was the contestant who got really upset about strip dodgeball and said a slew of horrible things to Clare. Per The Sun, he called Clare "completely classless" and said he "expected more" from the oldest Bachelorette.
Considering he was one of the villains of the season, it makes that he got some airtime, but it's a real shame Clare didn't get to take him down. Here's the scoop on Season 16's Men Tell All.
Yosef Abroady isn't sorry for his behavior
Season 16 Bachelorette contestant Yosef Aborady showed up at the Men Tell All and did not appear to be remorseful about his behavior on the show. The other men were vocal about their disappointment in his behavior and called him out for his unwillingness to admit how hurtful he was, per Entertainment Tonight. Host Chris Harrison gave Yosef the chance to explain by asking him (via ET), "Just so we're clear, you're like, 'That's cool. I would never mind anyone talking to my daughter like that?'" Yosef said, "If my daughter did something like that, I would hope someone would call her out."
Chris then did something unexpected: he offered some advice to Yosef. "I rarely do this. I'm going to try to help you help yourself. I've seen a lot of stuff in 20 years, but that was really not a good look," Chris said. "The way it escalated, the way you spoke ... what I would love is if you can just see that and say, 'I see that, and Clare, for that I'm sorry.'" Yosef responded, "I'm not going to apologize, and with all due respect, I really don't care what any of these guys think about me."
While Clare Crawley wasn't there, she watched as the other men defended her, taking to Twitter to write: "I wish they would have let me be in attendance to let these men know in person how much their words + support have meant to me. Thank you gentlemen. From the bottom of my heart."
