Inside Kaley Cuoco's Reaction To Her First Golden Globe Nomination

The nominations for the 78th Golden Globe Awards dropped on Feb. 3, 2021, and both celebrities and fans reacted to the shocking nods and snubs. There were some major victories, including the nomination lineup for Best Director, which made history "with women occupying three of the five slots," per The Wall Street Journal. On the other hand, there were some glaring snubs, and fans expressed their disappointment over Twitter. Many of the nominations, however, had fans celebrating, with Twitter users praising Viola Davis' Best Actress in a Drama nomination and Lin-Manuel Miranda's nod for Best Actor in a Musical.

Among the 2021 Golden Globe nominees is Kaley Cuoco, who snagged her first-ever nomination for her role on the HBO Max show The Flight Attendant. The actress is best-known for her role on the immensely popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, and although Cuoco has won People's Choice awards and Critics' Choice awards for TBBT, this is her first Golden Globe nod. Naturally, Cuoco was pretty thrilled about the news. Keep scrolling to see her priceless reaction.

Kaley Cuoco couldn't stop crying happy tears

While Kaley Cuoco is no stranger to winning awards for her performances, her acting in The Flight Attendant landed the actress her first Golden Globe nomination in February 2021. While some celebrities tweeted about their nominations ahead of the 2021 Golden Globes, Cuoco posted a video of her reaction to the news on Instagram

In the video – which was filmed by Cuoco's husband, Karl Cook — the actress becomes emotional and starts crying upon hearing her name for Best Television Actress in a Musical/Comedy. In a second clip, Cuoco is ecstatic, turning to the camera and exclaiming, "I can't believe it!" The actress topped off her reaction videos with a sweet caption, writing, "Thank you @goldenglobes #hfpa I will never ever forget this moment and I can't stop crying ... so proud of my entire team @flightattendantonmax."
