Uber Eats' Wayne's World Commercial Had An Unexpected Guest Star

There's a lot more to the Super Bowl than just football, especially the Super Bowl LV, which blew our minds on Feb. 7, 2021. The Weeknd was flawless in the halftime show. Not only was he amazing, but his backup dancers caused a major stir.

The game, of course, was incredible too, with Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, with fans biting their nails wondering who would come out on top. The victory went to Brady and the Buccaneers, but not without some serious effort from the Chiefs.

But what makes the Super Bowl so incredible is its commercials. Any normal TV viewer might cringle during commercials but not during the Super Bowl because, honestly, it's the best advertising we'll ever see and the 2021 game did not disappoint. Drake had Twitter thirsty with his State Farm commercial. T-Mobile gave us a meet-cute story for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton

The commercials also gave us some major nostalgia. There was a glorious Tide commercial featuring Jason Alexander on a hoodie that gave us Seinfeld flashbacks. Uber Eats gave us another wave of longing with a Wayne's World throwback with a very unexpected guest. Here's who made an appearance.

Cardi B joins forces with Wayne and Garth

Uber Eats hit a home run with their 2021 Super Bowl commercial with a Wayne's World reunion. Wayne and Garth, who made up the iconic Saturday Night Live duo, played by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, lent their 90s clout to food delivery service.

So while we were having some "party time, excellent" vibes, who shows up but Cardi B! It's a perfect moment because Wayne teases, "We'd never shamelessly rely on a celebrity cameo..." and there's our "WAP" superstar. The commercial gets even more epic as Wayne and Garth swap outfits with Cardi B, and they rock her glam look while she roughs it in their jeans, t-shirt, and trucker hat.

Twitter was all about it. "Wayne's World!!! This Uber Eats commercial with Cardi B was awesome!! I actually jumped for joy when I saw Wayne's World!" a fan joyfully tweeted. Someone else couldn't resist going all caps: "THE WAYNE'S WORLD COMMERCIAL WITH CARDI B AHHH!!!" Oh, the joys of advertising.
