The Former Housewife You Might See On The Real Housewives Of Miami Reboot
News broke in January 2021 that Bravo was looking to reboot The Real Housewives of Miami, which aired for three seasons between 2011 and 2013, per ScreenRant. Prior to that, in November 2020, talk show host Andy Cohen revealed on the Everything Iconic podcast that he was trying to convince Bravo and NBC (which owns Bravo) to run a revamped version of the series on its Peacock streaming service. "I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami," he said at the time. "I don't know if I'm allowed to say this. I don't know where we are with that. I have to say the fans of Miami are still very vocal, and so I've been an advocate for Peacock bringing back Miami."
The original cast members included Joanna Krupa, Larsa Pippen, Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Cristy Rice, Lisa Hochstein, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra. At the time of the reboot news, it was not known if all the original stars would return to the franchise. However, Page Six reported that Bravo was looking to include Orianne Cevey, ex-wife to pop music icon Phill Collins.
However, additional news has now been released about the unconfirmed reboot, and there is one former housewife you might see on your screen again soon.
Casting for The Real Housewives of Miami is already in progress
According to a source close to US Weekly, casting is in full swing for The Real Housewives of Miami Season 4. "They have started interviewing a bunch of different women," an insider told the publication in February 2021. "They want to have a very diverse cast and are speaking to women from all different backgrounds." The source added that the potential cast members have already gone through several rounds of interviews.
Additionally, Entertainment Tonight reported that Larsa Pippen (pictured above) from the original cast is in talks with Bravo to return to the show. A source told the outlet in February 2021 that Larsa, former wife to NBA star Scottie Pippen, "has been offered a role on The Real Housewives of Miami and is considering it." Larsa only appeared on one season of the original RHOM series, but went on to make cameos in Keeping Up with the Kardashians — before her friendship with the family fizzled, that is.
When ET's report came out, Larsa had most recently been in the news for listing her Fort Lauderdale mansion for $12 million, per The Miami Herald. The home has been put on the market several times since 2009.
