What You Don't Know About Justin And Hailey Bieber's Latest Real Estate Move
Justin and Hailey Bieber have sold their Beverly Hills mansion. The property sold, fully furnished, on Feb. 18, 2021 for $7.955 million, as per People. The couple bought the home, a newly renovated 1930s Monterey Colonial, in 2019 for $8.5 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The pair took a $545,000 loss on the sale, which is chump change for the "Holy" singer, who is worth a cool $285 million.
In 2019, the Grammy-winning singer revealed his desire to sell the 6,132 square-foot mansion just a few months after purchasing the property, nicknamed "The Tropics." "I think I want to sell my home in Beverly Hills who wants it," he wrote alongside a picture of the home's interior, which features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a sunken family room with white-oak floors, and a movie theater, among other amenities, according to Architectural Digest. Bieber also shared a photo sitting on a velour sectional with a view of a gold-and-marble coffee table and a large print hanging on the wall that reads, "I Love You!". He captioned it, "I'll sell it with all the furniture. MAKE AN OFFER."
The Biebers eventually listed the property in October 2020 with the help of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles stars Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman and Dalton Gomez of Compass. Gomez is engaged to Ariana Grande, who shares manager Scooter Braun with Bieber.
So, where are the Biebers planning to live now? Don't worry, they're not ditching the luxe life.
Justin and Haley Bieber upgraded to a $26 million mansion in Beverly Hills
The couple had purchased a nearly 11,000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills a year and a half after buying their first mansion in the 90210, per the Los Angeles Times. The home, which was built in the 1980s and given some upgrades in recent years, according to House Beautiful, sits on 2.5 acres in a gated community in Beverly Park.
The home boasts a grand two-story entrance, seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, a movie theater and a gym with mirrored walls. The landscaped lawns are home to an infinity-edge swimming pool, a covered patio with a poolside lounge, pizza oven and outdoor fireplace. At the edge of the property is a championship tennis court, according to House Beautiful and the Los Angeles Times. The whopping $26 million that the Biebers paid was the fifth-highest sale in Beverly Hills in 2020, per the Los Angeles Times.
The couple also share a lakeside home in Ontario, Canada, near where the "Lonely" singer grew up. This is where the Biebers have been quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic, as noted by Life & Style.
