What Samantha Markle Predicts For Meghan And Harry's Future
Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Markle has not had the nicest things to say about Meghan — or about her relationship with Prince Harry over the course of the past three or four years. Samantha has been rather outspoken about Meghan's choices when it comes to Harry and/or his family, as evidenced by this article published by Us Weekly in which Samantha chimed in on Meghan and Harry's decision to step down as senior royals, calling it a "slap in the face."
And while Samantha went ahead and wrote a tell-all book about the life she lived with her half-sister (via Cosmopolitan), Meghan has done a pretty decent job at distancing herself from that particular noise — she doesn't even acknowledge it, really. In fact, when Meghan was asked about Samatha during her sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said that she doesn't "feel comfortable talking about people" that she "really" doesn't know, adding that she "grew up as an only child," according to the Los Angeles Times.
If you have followed Samantha's stories over the past couple of years, it will probably come as no surprise to you that she's speaking out yet again, this time making a pretty bold claim about Meghan and Harry's relationship, according to TMZ. Read on to find out what she had to say.
Samantha Markle thinks Meghan's marriage to Harry is doomed
In what appears to be a virtual interview posted by TMZ in mid-March 2021, Samantha Markle revealed her feelings on her half-sister's marriage. The short-and-sweet version? Samantha seems to think Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are headed for a split.
"I see it ending in divorce, unless they get extensive counseling, and can agree to work on being honest, to work on apologies to everyone that they've damaged," Samantha explained, adding that the "damage" that Meghan and Harry have done "to the royals [has] been massive." Samantha even went on to suggest that Harry may "already" be "questioning" divorce... that is, of course, "if he has a functioning frontal lobe." She had additional digs for Harry, saying that "he's not 12," and even questioned, "what man would be happy or comfortable" knowing that "everything" his wife has said "has been a lie."
This isn't the only time Samantha has spoken out since the Oprah Winfrey interview either. She previously made some other bold claims about her half-sister, according to Page Six. "I definitely see a narcissistic personality disorder. I'm not diagnosing her. She needs to see a counselor," Samantha said. She also said she "feels sorry" for Harry, and made a reference to him reminding her of "one of those kidnap victims."
Meghan and Harry have not responded to Samantha's latest claims in any way, but given Samantha's penchant for slamming her half-sister, this probably won't be the last time her comments make headline news.
