The Truth About The Bachelorette's Andrew Milcovich

Andrew Milcovich is one of the men who was cast for Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette. The season slated to air throughout the summer of 2021 covers Katie's run as the lead for Season 17, and franchise fans will likely be curious to learn more about Andrew's day-to-day life.

Katie never seemed to really stand a chance with Matt James during his run as The Bachelor. Her bold personality and kind nature definitely won over viewers though. Her somewhat early elimination would usually signal a very low chance to become The Bachelorette. Katie proved to be an exception, though, and fans were hopeful her opportunity to hand out roses would help her find her long-term Mr. Right.

Season 17 of The Bachelorette was orchestrated to be different from the norm in some significant ways. For starters, Chris Harrison was replaced as the host. Instead, an announcement was made via the show's Twitter page that Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe would share the hosting duties for Katie's season. Initially, production hoped to film this journey to find love in Canada. However, the plans had to change due to the coronavirus pandemic. As an alternative, a resort in New Mexico was chosen. Katie and her men would film at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa near Albuquerque.

So who is Andrew and does he have a chance with Katie? Let's get to know him better.

Andrew Milcovich accomplished a lot during college

The Bachelorette contestant Andrew Milcovich is a California guy who could grab Katie Thurston's interest (per Reality Steve's Twitter). Andrew was 31 years old heading into filming and was from Walnut Creek, Calif. According to his LinkedIn, he attended Pepperdine University and was a double major in political science and economics. He then pursued a law degree from Pepperdine and finished in 2017.

During his undergraduate years, Andrew played water polo and was a part of the Phi Eta Sigma honor society. After law school, Andrew became a law clerk in the district attorney's office in Contra Costa County. A couple of years later, he joined Vasquez Benisek & Lindgren as an associate attorney.

Andrew's Instagram profile includes a quote from Bruce Lee that seems to capture his approach to life. "Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely your own," it details. His Facebook page provides a sense of Andrew's likes, such as Dr. Seuss books, The Great Gatsby, Catcher in the Rye, and The Lord of the Rings series. He's also signaled an appreciation for television shows like The Office, Dexter, Entourage, and Suits.
