The Transformation Of Audrina Patridge From 22 To 35 Years Old

For all of the nostalgic MTV fans out there, "The Hills" fans get to have their cake and eat it too. A reboot of the beloved series, called "The Hills: New Beginnings," is slated for a May 2021 premiere. There are many familiar faces returning for the reboot: Brody Jenner is back in the mix, as are Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. Kristin Cavallari will also be coming back as will Whitney Port, Frankie Delgado, Stephanie Pratt, and Jason Wahler, according to Vulture.

Interestingly, Lauren Conrad is not coming back for the reboot. A source said of her decision: "She's in a different place in her life. But she wants everyone to enjoy themselves. She wishes everyone the best," according to People. While LC might be opting out, there's still one more familiar face coming back for the reboot: Audrina Patridge. So with Audrina on our minds, let's look at her amazing transformation over the years.

How did Audrina get started on 'The Hills'?

As a follow up to "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," MTV launched "The Hills" in 2006, according to The New York Times, which featured Lauren Conrad and her friends: Heidi Montag, Whitney Port and, of course, Audrina Patridge.

Fun fact: producers had it appear like Audrina (pictured here in 2007) organically became fast friends with the rest of the cast. However, the friendship's beginning was actually carefully scripted by producers. In a tell-all with Us Weekly in 2016, Audrina said: "[Executive producer] Adam DiVello told me I wasn't allowed to go to the pool for two weeks because they wanted us to meet on camera. I had to keep dodging the pool and lobby!"

In the same tell-all, Heidi elaborated on their first meeting with Audrina: "Audrina just swam up to us [at the apartment complex], and I was like, 'What is this girl doing in our shot?' No one told us we were meeting a new cast member." While she became fast friends with the rest of her crew, did the friendships last?

Where does Audrina stand with the rest of 'The Hills' cast?

While Audrina Patridge had an easy time making friends with the rest of the cast on "The Hills," there was some conflict as the seasons rolled. For example, problems arose when Heidi Montag fell in love with Spencer Pratt. According to Us Weekly, Spencer had his eye on Audrina early on, which naturally created some conflict for her friendship with Heidi.

In a tell-all with the outlet, Audrina explained: "The producers were using me to try to start drama with Heidi and Spencer. Heidi really egged it on. It made me lose respect." To make matters worse, things got complicated between Audrina and Lauren Conrad when Audrina began dating Justin Brescia.

Despite these conflicts, Audrina's relationships have vastly changed because she has changed. As Kristen Cavallari said to People in February 2020, "Everyone's just grown up a lot. Everyone has a really good head on their shoulders. And it's really nice to talk to Heidi and Audrina and realize how far they have come."

"They have good hearts, they're not affected by everything, and they're just good people," Kristen added. "I think that we've all learned a lot from our experiences. We're all moms now, and all of that just plays into becoming an amazing woman. I really stand by that they're both really great people and I'm proud to call them friends." Clearly, people change and grow!

What did Audrina do after 'The Hills'?

"The Hills" wrapped in 2010, according to EW, but that doesn't mean that Audrina Patridge was done with appearing on screen. Only months after her gig with MTV wrapped, Audrina appeared on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." She tore up some rugs with dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

Unfortunately, the duo finished in seventh place and was the sixth couple to be eliminated. Dovolani had nothing but lovely things to say about his dance partner. "Being paired up with Audrina was like a breath of fresh air," he said, per ABC News. "We had a blast through the entire process. We left with a smile on our face."

But this wasn't all for Audrina. Even before she finished on "The Hills," Audrina appeared in "Into the Blue 2: The Reef" in 2009, according to her IMDb credits. She had her own reality show on VH1 called, fittingly, "Audrina," but it ended after one season. She also appeared on several episodes of the TV series "Dream Maker" in 2011 and in 2013, she appeared in "Scary Movie V." Audrina has some boast-worthy credits but she also has had an eventful, if somewhat trying, time with relationships.

Audrina Patridge and her marriage drama

Audrina Patridge (pictured here in 2013) began dating BMX dirt bike rider Corey Bohan in 2008, according to Us Weekly. They had an on-again, off-again relationship for five years and then announced their engagement in 2015. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Kirra Max Bohan, in June 2016, according to E! News. They wed in the same year, according to People.

However, things took a serious turn. Less than a year after getting married, Audrina filed for divorce in September 2017 after an alleged violent outburst from Bohan, according to a later publication by People. Audrina also "requested temporary restraining and child abduction prevention orders against" Bohan, per the outlet.

A source told the outlet at the time: "Corey has said to Audrina multiple times, 'If you leave me, I'll come after you.' So she had to get some additional protection." Their divorce was finalized in 2018. Has she found love since? As of April 2021, Distractify said that Audrina was single.

Audrina Patridge makes the big bucks

Audrina Patridge has had quite the journey with some tough moments along the way. Despite all of that, she had made some amazing strides and one of those areas includes finances. As the Daily Beast reported, Audrina was making $100,000 per episode on "The Hills." Today, Audrina has a net worth of $5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. This number is going to do nothing but grow, as Showbiz Cheat Sheet notes, thanks to her role on the reboot, "The Hills: New Beginnings."

Like many reality stars, Audrina has major clout on Instagram. She uses her massive social media following to take advantage of sponsored content and endorsement deals. Though, to be fair, she also shares tons of adorable pics of her daughter, as well. So it's been a delight to watch Audrina grow and we are here for the next step in her ever-blossoming career, especially as a reboot emerges.
