The Kardashian-Jenner family members are no strangers to drama, especially when it comes to their relationships. At this point, basically every member of the Kar-Jenner crew has experienced infidelity whether they were on the giving or receiving end of it. And the cheating scandals don't always just impact that one member of the family, sometimes they rock the entire clan to its core. Over the years, Kardashian-Jenner cheating scandals have ended relationships, cancelled weddings, and ruined friendships.
Some fans have dubbed the Kardashian's trouble with love as the "Kardashian curse," and while there's no scientific proof that the curse is real, their list of exes only continues to grow. Back in 2018, Kylie Jenner even explained the apparently inexplicable fate of the stars' star-crossed romances to GQ, saying that some of the people who come into their life just "can't handle" their level of fame. So whether the Kar-Jenners are to blame or not, the curse lives on and the cheating rumors continue to impact the family. So let's get into which cheating scandals rocked the Kardashian-Jenner family most.
Kim Kardashian and Ray J's relationship shook the Kar-Jenner family in more ways than one
Kim Kardashian and Ray J's early 2000's relationship was high profile for a variety of reasons. When their infamous sex tape was released the same year that "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premiered, it shot the Kar-Jenner family to a level of fame unheard of in the reality space. Some people still argue that it's what made the Kardashians famous. But scandal aside, Kardashian and Ray J's three year romance (on and off) had plenty of other ups and downs. Around a decade after their sex tape leaked and Kardashian was already an A-lister, Ray J appeared on "Celebrity Big Brother" and spilled some tea about their rocky relationship.
During a conversation with Stacy Francis on the reality show, Ray J revealed that both he and Kardashian were unfaithful in their relationship. He said (via Us Weekly), "You don't really know what happened though. Put it like this, we were both players. We were both cheaters." After Francis said she didn't believe him that Kardashian cheated, Ray J insisted that fans don't know the whole story about his relationship with Kardashian. He said, "Every relationship I was in, I loved the girl. It's just the moral values and standards was off. I was loving and lying."
Ray J and Kardashian ended up splitting up for good around 2006 and since then, Ray J told Francis that he's been friendly when bumping into Kim's family members in public.
Kris Jenner cheated on Robert Kardashian and it ended their marriage
Before Kris Jenner's rise to fame, she married Robert Kardashian in 1978 when she was only 22 years old. The two were married until 1991 and share four children together, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian. Kris and Robert officially divorced in March 1991 and in 2003, Kardashian died from esophageal cancer.
While she doesn't speak about it much, Kris confessed in her 2011 memoir, "Kris Jenner...And All Things Kardashian," to having an affair with animator and former soccer star Todd Waterman (the same man she later had an affair with during her marriage to Caitlyn Jenner). Kris admitted that this affair eventually led to her and Robert's divorce.
In March 2020, during an appearance on Diane Von Furstenberg's "InCharge With DVF" podcast, Jenner got candid about her affair with Waterman while she was married to her late ex-husband. Jenner says she still regrets how things went down saying, "When I was in my 30s, I had an affair and my biggest regret was the fact that it broke up my family. I didn't know what to do. I had four kids, I was single. I didn't know where I was going to live, I didn't know what I was going to do." So this cheating scandal rocked the Kardashians before we all even knew who they were!
Lamar Odom cheated on Khloé Kardashian throughout their marriage
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom got married in 2009, only a month after they met. After they tied the knot, fans got to watch their relationship on their own spinoff show, "Khloé & Lamar," which ran for two seasons on E!. The two were married until 2013 when Kardashian filed for divorce. By 2016, their divorce was finalized, but even after their split, Kardashian said that she and Odom still spoke frequently. In a 2015 interview with Complex, Kardashian gushed, "Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar's gonna always be that person [for me] but that's what made it so special."
A few months later, Kardashian revealed to Howard Stern that she discovered Odom had been "cheating on me the majority of our marriage." She called the revelation "humiliating" and "disgusting" and described how "blown away" she was that he was able to keep the secret. By this time, of course, fans knew their relationship was far from perfect.
In 2017, after surviving his near fatal overdose, Odom spoke to Us Weekly about his infidelity, saying that he became "more enticing to "b*tches and THOTs" after his marriage to Kardashian. Odom did admit his biggest regret from "when [he] was married ... was having multiple affairs with different women." He continued, "That wasn't the stand-up thing to do. I wish I could have kept my d**k in my pants."
Kendall Jenner was accused of homewrecking Blake Griffin's previous relationship
In 2017, NBA star Blake Griffin split up with his fiancee (and the mother of his two children), Brynn Cameron, and was spotted out with Kendall Jenner shortly thereafter. Jenner was also seen cheering on Griffin at his basketball games and the two were photographed out and about constantly throughout their relationship.
But not long after Griffin and Jenner's fling began, Cameron accused Jenner of home-wrecking their relationship. But was Griffin ever unfaithful to Cameron with Jenner? Well, in 2018, Cameron filed a palimony lawsuit against Griffin that claimed he cast his family aside for Jenner. And while it's not 100% clear whether or not Jenner and Griffin's relationship overlapped at all with Griffin and Cameron's, Jenner found herself tangled up in their family's legal drama. According to TMZ, the lawsuit claimed Griffin, "cruelly embarrassed his family with his public fawning over Kendall Jenner."
In a statement to People, Griffin's reps denied Cameron's allegations, however, the same outlet reported that shortly after the lawsuit was filed, Jenner and Griffin "cooled off." They ended up going their separate ways later on in 2018. Was this drama actually just too much?
Tyga got caught communicating with an underage girl while dating Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner and Tyga went public with their romance in 2015 and had their ups and downs throughout their two year relationship. And while they faced breakup rumors throughout their time together, Jenner denied their split during a November 2015 appearance on The Ellen Show. Despite still being together, Tyga faced multiple cheating allegations, including one serious report in 2016 that involved then 14-year-old aspiring singer Molly O'Malia.
According to TMZ, O'Malia cried at a press conference and alleged that Tyga sent her unsolicited and inappropriate messages online. Tyga's reps told TMZ that Tyga only spoke to O'Malia because he was interested in signing her as a singer to his label, but O'Malia's interview said otherwise. Through her tears, O'Malia said, "I want people to know the truth. The truth is that Tyga contacted me first. ... I thought it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communications." O'Malia claimed that Tyga made her "uncomfortable" and he asked her to FaceTime with him on multiple occasions. She concluded her statement saying that she spoke out on this matter because she didn't want "what happened to her to happen to any other young girl."
Jenner and Tyga went on to more break-up rumors before finally ending things for good the following year in April 2017.
Did Travis Scott cheating on Kylie Jenner lead to their split?
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's relationship has had its ups and downs, but one of the lowest lows was in early 2019, when Jenner accused Scott of cheating on her. The situation was a bit of a he said/she said where TMZ reported that Jenner accused Scott of cheating. Scott vehemently denied being unfaithful, but sources told the outlet that "she claimed to discover 'evidence' he cheated on her." According to the outlet, this whole debacle supposedly caused Scott to postpone one of his Astroworld concerts to try to work out the relationship drama.
Later that year, shortly after Scott and Jenner split up, an Instagram model named Rojean Kar, who supposedly had relations with Scott while he was dating Jenner, spoke about their alleged relationship on Instagram live. Kar said (via Capital FM), "Just like in the beginning, when this s**t started with Trav in March I was like let me be quiet and not say anything and maybe it'll go away." Eventually, Kar denied the rumors that she had anything to do with Jenner and Scott's split.
We may never know what really happened between these two and what "evidence" Jenner supposedly found, but clearly they were able to move past it. Jenner and Scott have been successfully co-parenting their daughter Stormi Webster and have continued to spark romance rumors on and off.
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's cheating drama is the messiest in Kardashian-Jenner history
As far as Kardashian cheating scandals go, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's might've been the messiest. The two got together in 2016, and from day one, their relationship stirred the Kardashian pot. In case you needed the backstory, Chyna used to date Kylie Jenner's ex, Tyga, and they share a son together. Chyna also used to be friends with Kim Kardashian before Tyga and Jenner started dating.
So while Rob and Chyna's relationship rocked the Kar-Jenner fam when they got together, nothing compared to how things went down when they split. In 2017, Rob put Chyna on blast in a series of social media posts accusing her of "f**king me and then this dude right after." But he didn't stop there. Rob also shared explicit photos of Chyna on Instagram, which got him banned from the platform.
The two also had a series of aggressive incidents after their split with Rob even claiming that Chyna allegedly "pointed a gun" at him during a fight. According to Page Six, Chyna eventually sued nearly "the entire Kardashian clan," claiming assault, battery, domestic violence, defamation, and more in disputes over her altercations with Rob and the cancellation of their reality seires. That legal drama will culminate in a courtroom battle featuring likely testimony from Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rob, and a slew of E! executives in October 2021.
Scott Disick got caught texting another woman while dating Kourtney Kardashian
Fans have watched Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship under a microscope over the years on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." We've seen them welcome three children into the world, but we've also seen some of their tougher times, including cheating scandals. And while the two aren't together in 2021, fans still seem to hold out hope the co-parents and exes could rekindle their romance.
Scott and Kourtney's first cheating scandal and break up was during the early days of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" when Kourtney's sisters, Khloé and Kim Kardashian, went through Scott's phone and discovered that he was texting another woman. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, in the messages, "Disick said he wished he could take a week to come visit the woman 'and not tell Kourt.'"
Kourtney and Scott split up after that, but eventually got back together. Then, when they split for good in 2015, Scott apologized to Kourtney's family for his past unfaithful behavior. In response to Khloé asking Scott why he "destroyed" the family he was given in the Kardashian-Jenners, he tearfully responded, admitting that he "should have just been honest" about the "horrible things" reported about him in the media, but he "was too ashamed that [he] was gonna hurt everybody in this family." He added, "I've apologized to Kourtney a hundred times, but I've never apologized to all of you for letting all of you down and embarrassing you guys."
Will Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's cheating scandals ever end?
Unfortunately, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's relationship has become somewhat synonymous with a cheating scandal. As "The Chicks In The Office" podcast tweeted, "The sky is blue, the grass is green and Tristan Thompson cheats." According to Radar Online, the two actually started dating back in 2016, while Thompson's girlfriend of two years, model and blogger Jordan Craig, was pregnant.
And it wasn't long into Kardashian and Thompson's relationship that he cheated on her, too. Around two weeks after news broke that Kardashian and Thompson were expecting their first child together, TMZ obtained footage of Thompson with other women. Then, just days before Kardashian was supposed to give birth, the Daily Mail shared photos of Thompson kissing another woman. And as if all that wasn't enough, Kardashian decided to stay together with Thompson, but she continued to be disappointed when he cheated on her, yet again. This time it was with Kylie Jenner's now ex-BFF, Jordyn Woods.
Eventually, after that scandal rocked the entire Kar-Jenner fam, Kardashian and Thompson got back together yet again, only to face more cheating allegations in 2021. Thompson denied these allegations, but fans wonder if he's telling the truth and why Kardashian keeps taking him back.
