What Really Happened Between Kendall Jenner And A$AP Rocky

New York rapper-slash-model A$AP Rocky has had an interesting yet impressive love life. The "F***in' Problems" crooner has been romantically linked to a few high-profile ladies, such as Rita Ora and Chanel Iman. It seems that his love life is going smoothly now that he's officially confirmed that he is with his "Fashion Killa" girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Per Us Weekly, Rihanna and A$AP sparked dating rumors after appearing on the red carpet at The Fashion Awards in London. An insider revealed to the publication that the lovebirds didn't begin "hooking up" until February 2020 after bringing in New Year's Day together in New York City.

The "Sundress" rapper professed his love for the Fenty Beauty entrepreneur in his GQ interview in May 2021. "[It's] so much better when you got The One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones," he said. "I think when you know, you know. She's The One." As their relationship continues to blossom, we can't help but wonder what happened to the rapper's previous romantic connection with Kendall Jenner. Read on to find out what really happened between A$AP Rocky and Kendall Jenner.

Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky were too busy for each other

Before his relationship with longtime friend Rihanna, A$AP Rocky had a brief romance with Kendall Jenner. The two began hanging out in late July 2016, per Us Weekly. The two were spotted at Coachella in April 2017, where they reportedly "were super cozy and super close." Shortly, the two made an appearance at the Met Gala that had everybody talking about their display of PDA. According to a source (via The Sun), the two were previously spotted at The Who's live performance: "Kendall and A$AP Rocky went to the Royal Albert Hall and made no secret of the fact they are a couple. There was a lot of touching going on. It wasn't the behavior of two people who are just friends."

Although the two appeared to spend a lot of time with one another, their rumored romance ended by September 2017. The relationship ended amicably, given the fact that their schedules got in the way of pursuing anything further. "Kendall and A$AP weren't seeing each other a lot. They weren't really official, but were obviously dating," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "Their schedules are really hard."

Kendall and A$AP have since found love in other people. While A$AP has the "love of [my] life," the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star is in a relationship with NBA player Devin Booker. "This is the happiest Kendall has ever been in a relationship," a source told People in April 2021. "She and Devin started out slowly, but have dated for about a year now."
