As noted by J-14, the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards in August of that year. In an interview with Access at the award ceremony, Lil Xan admitted he slid into Noah's DM's prior to meeting her. "We started hanging out and we had just such good chemistry," he said, adding, "I was definitely intimidated — I just went for it." With that being said, the duo left fans surprised as they were no longer together one month later.

Despite no real confirmation that they once dated, it has been said that Noah Cyrus and Machine Gun Kelly had a fling. In January 2020, the "Make Me (Cry)" hitmaker was spotted packing on the public affection at a Grammy Awards afterparty with the rapper. "They are holding hands and posing for photos together," an eyewitness told E! News. "They held hands as they arrived back inside the party and continued to be next to each other the entire time. It seemed like they were dating."
As previously reported by J-14, Noah shared a snapshot of her kissing DJ Diablo to Instagram in October 2019. The duo never confirmed they were together either. However, nothing has been said since Noah deleted the image from her page. One of Noah's first public relationships was with Tanner Drayton in 2017. Their love was so strong, they got matching tattoos of five stars on their wrists. The reason for their split has remained low-key over the years, but fans definitely shipped them as a couple, according to J-14.
