Who Is Elle King's Fiance, Dan Tooker?

Elle King became a mainstay in the music industry during the mid-2010s with her singing and songwriting talents. Per Billboard, King broke through to the pop scene in 2015 with her hit song "Ex's & Ohs," but has since become a rising star in the world of country music. She has collaborated with Miranda Lambert, Marren Morris, Ashley McBryde, and Dierks Bentley on songs, which have become chart toppers on Billboard's Country Charts.

It would make sense for King to have such success because she comes from a showbiz family. As Nicki Swift reported, King's father is the famous Rob Schneider — actor, comedian, producer, director, and screenwriter — who has earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Her uncle, John Schneider, is also a multimedia producer. King, though, has always relied on her talent and instincts to become a successful artist.

While King's music career has been on the rise, her personal life has also been full of happiness. King got engaged to her fiance Dan Tooker in October 2020, per People, and announced in March of this year that she is expecting a baby with him. So, who is the man that captured King's heart? Find out more about him below.

Elle King's fiance Dan Tooker is into body art

Elle King may be a talented musician, but her fiance Dan Tooker also has a creative side to him. He's a tattoo artist who has worked with several tattoo parlours throughout the U.S., including Riverside Tattoo company in Boston, King told Entertainment Tonight. Tooker's tattoo company was affected by lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it reopened in July 2020, which King was happy about because her fiance could finally focus on his craft again.

"I know that he's so, so happy to be working again, and doing his craft. Don't tell him, but I'm not minding," she confessed to the outlet. "I used to hate having to FaceTime with him, because I missed him so much. Now I'm like, 'Great! This is our scheduled time, I'll talk to you now.'" King added that she spent the most time with Tooker during quarantine, which made for "a lot of testing moments," but ultimately, the experience "made us stronger."

King and Tooker revealed that they were expecting a baby in March, after suffering two miscarriages in the past. "We are very excited to share the news that we are pregnant," King wrote on Instagram of her and Tooker in a car showing off their sonogram pictures. "You see, this miracle baby comes after two very big losses...But the sun always rises, and I never really let go to let the universe decide when I was ready. " King then encouraged other women, telling them "babies [will] come" in the end.
