All The Details On Christina Haack's Single Life

HGTV star Christina Haack has been through the wringer the last few years. For all the success she has with "Flip or Flop" and "Christina on the Coast," her personal life has seen the highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, was diagnosed with thyroid and testicular cancer in 2013. She and Tarek had two children, as well as a miscarriage, and then they divorced, per People. She met Ant Anstead in 2017 and married him in 2018, had a baby in 2019, and filed for divorce in 2020. Tarek is engaged to "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae Young (who bears a more than passing resemblance to Christina, per People).

With Season 3 of her show "Christina on the Coast," viewers are getting a first-hand look at how Christina is rebuilding her life and co-parenting her three kids with two ex-husbands. That's enough to overwhelm anyone, but Christina is approaching it with positivity and enthusiasm. "I'm more of a person that just focuses on staying positive. Like, I don't get stuck in dwelling on things if they're going differently," she said to ET Online in June 2021. "I just always constantly am looking at the future. New projects, new fun activities, and everything like that. I guess the main thing is, yeah, just not getting stuck in the setback and just looking at the future." Keep reading to learn more about Christina's single life.

Christina Haack is enjoying being single and focusing on her kids

The new season of "Christina on the Coast" will, of course, feature Christina Haack's amazing transformation of rooms and homes. It will also feature her balancing a busy career with raising her three kid: 10-year-old daughter Taylor, five-year-old son Brayden, and one-and-a-half-year-old son Husdon, per E! News.

In an interview with E! News in June 2021, Christina said, "I believe that everyone deserves to have love and find love and I hope that happens for me. But it would take a really special someone and my goal right now is just to focus on my kids and keeping my private life, as private as it can possibly be."

Christina is balancing her career and her kids and doing it all without a nanny, per the outlet. She said to E! News, "I mean, balancing is something that everyone struggles with—so do I. I just try to do the best I can." To be more present with her kids, she's made sure to put her phone down and at least try to stay off social media, she revealed to E!

Christina Haack isn't looking for another romantic relationship at this point in her life

Christina Haack has realigned her priorities after her second divorce. She told ET Online in June 2021, "My goal is just to move on and not take things so seriously... do some fun trips with the kids, go to Tennessee more, take time for quiet time and just really focus on the family. Just those things for us, those private times, you know, fun moments."

Christina is also reassessing where she is in life and how she got there. In an Instagram post, she reintroduced herself, writing, "I hate crowds, I love traveling, all things spiritual, the ocean and deep one-on-one conversations. I never thought about being on tv. I wanted to be a sports agent like Jerry Maguire. But I always loved looking at houses with my parents especially model homes and I always wanted to be my own boss ..."

She continued, "I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two. I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies — but sometimes life throws us curveballs. Instead of getting stuck in these "setbacks" I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow."

It's time for Christina Haack to focus on herself

It's understandable that Christina Haack would want to take a time out from dating. She hasn't ruled it out for the future, but right now, "It would take a really special someone and my goal right now is just to focus on my kids and keeping my private life, as private as it can possibly be," she told E! News in June 2021.

Christina also reclaimed her maiden name, writing on Instagram, "My grandma, Mildred "Biddy" Haack, was my greatest influence growing up. She was always real in a world of so many fakes. She's the only person I've ever really trusted with my life ... Taking back the family's last name and know my grandparents are smiling from above."

It seems like Christina has her head on straight. She wrote on Instagram, "I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing. I'm surrounded by extremely powerful women who help me cope, build me up and push me to be better. If you've DM me or text me — I haven't written back because I'm taking time to clear the 'noise' and focus on myself and the kids. I appreciate the support and I hope my story inspires you to not be so hard on yourself for the decisions/choices you've made. We are all a work in progress." We're wishing Christina the best of luck in healing and moving forward.
