New Details About Janet Jackson's Baby Boy
Details about super private Janet Jackson's new baby are slowly trickling out, courtesy of her siblings.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jackson, 50, gave birth to a baby boy, Eissa Al Mana, with husband Wissam Al Mana, on Jan. 3, 2017. She reportedly had a "stress-free, healthy delivery," and the tyke's name means "the Lord is salvation."
Jackson's brothers Tito and Jackie dished on the bambino to Good Morning Britain on Feb. 28, 2017.
"Janet had a beautiful baby boy. It's all good," Jackie said. "Everyone's fine. Everything's great."
Jackie didn't reveal when he met Eissa, but it may have been earlier this month, when Janet reportedly also introduced him to her mother, Katherine, and sister Rebbie Jackson.
"It seems like her family is staying close to help and support Janet," a source told E! News about the new mother. "She has hired help at home and her husband been with her through it all. It was a difficult pregnancy, but she is very blessed and has a healthy baby," another source said. "A select few have seen her baby. She is so excited to be a mom."
Though Janet and her new addition are smooth sailing now, her pregnancy was a difficult one. The "Control" singer was put on mandatory bed rest after suffering from unspecified complications during the pregnancy.
The pregnancy itself came as a shock to fans, who suspected something was up when she suddenly canceled a world tour in April 2016 to "plan her family." She confirmed she and Al Mana, 42, were expecting a month later.
In terms of the other Jackson spawn, Jackie offered up some advice to Eissa, as well as nephews Prince and Blanket and niece Paris Jackson, if they ever got into show biz.
"Well I guess it's in their blood," Jackie said. "They watched us growing up when they were young. They love the business. If that's what they want to do, go ahead and do it... [My advice is to] keep their heads on straight and do the best they can. Use good judgment."
