Has Erika Jayne Talked To Tom Girardi Since Their Split?

There has been a never-ending onslaught of information since the news of Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi's split in November 2020. Erika filed for divorce after their relationship had been declining for some time, per Us Weekly. Erika requested spousal support from Tom in November, and not only was she turned down, but Tom also asked her to cover the attorney's fees for their divorce, per People

In December, the couple was also hit with an embezzlement lawsuit claiming they stole $2 million that was intended for the victims of the crashed Lion Air Flight 610, and Tom's assets were frozen, per Vulture. An attorney for Tom said he was hospitalized for a serious illness earlier in 2020, which caused him to not pay back the families in full, per Us Weekly. Tom's business partners at Girardi Keese also sued him, claiming he owed them $315,000 in income, per Page Six. On top of that, Wells Fargo is suing his firm for unpaid taxes, rent, and other fees. Aside from the financial drama, Erika shared in a now-deleted Instagram post in December that Tom had cheated on her.

In Season 11 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Erika confessed that she knew her husband cheated on her throughout their marriage and that she tried to get him to see a doctor for his deteriorating health. In the latest episode, she revealed how often her estranged husband contacts her. Read on to find out how often Tom reaches out.

Here's how often Tom Girardi calls Erika Jayne

On "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Erika Jayne shared with co-stars Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff on a hike that while she hasn't spoken to Tom since the day she moved out of their home, Tom still calls her every day. "You know, it's just horrible, 'I love you, I miss you, come home, are you sure?' I'm like, you gotta stop, you have to stop honey, you need help — and I can't give it!" Erika said, via Entertainment Weekly.

Later in the episode, Garcelle brought up what Erika shared with her with the whole group, much to Erika's dismay. "Well I do mind you saying that because I feel like you're betraying my friendship right now, but please, have your moment," the former "Chicago" star snapped back. She proceeded to break down in front of the group, saying that just because she shares something with one person in the group does not make it up for discussion. "I've been very open, and very honest," the singer croaked out between tears. "So I think that was dirty." The episode ends with Garcelle crying and feeling guilty for revealing this piece of information and Erika sobbing behind closed doors saying she's tried to be open and honest with the group.

But Erika is not the first real housewife to have a divorce or legal drama play out on TV.

Erika Jayne is in good company with her fellow housewives' divorces and legal drama

If there were ever a place for Erika Jayne to feel like she's in good company for all of the personal and legal woes she's endured, Bravo is it. Bravo fans could even argue that there is a divorce curse that looms over the "Real Housewives" franchise. Just look at Luann De Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Shannon Storms Beador, Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, Teresa Giudice, and Adrienne Maloof, to name a few.

Erika also isn't the only housewife to have her legal drama play out on the show. Just ask Teresa Giudice (again), Dorit Kemsley, Kim Richards, and Sonja Morgan. Perhaps the housewife to whom Erika she can most relate to is Jen Shah, who was arrested in March 2021 while the cameras were rolling for "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" Season 2 for her alleged role in a nationwide telemarketing scheme, per Us Weekly. At least Erika's legal troubles weren't caught by Bravo cameras.

We hope things start to look up for Erika Jayne soon and that she can get back to performing her dance hits for her fans.
