What Meghan Markle's Zodiac Sign Reveals About Her Personality

It's still unclear whether astrology has a direct impact on one's life, but the stars are believed to have a lot to say about a person's nature, personality, and even behavior. This apparently applies to everyone — including royals. In Meghan Markle's case, she was born on August 4, 1981, at 4:46 a.m. in Los Angeles, California, according to Lifetime, making her star sign a Leo.

According to Horoscope.com, Leos are "bold, intelligent, warm, and courageous." They are natural leaders, too, making them "ready to blaze a trail, vanquish injustice, and make a name for themselves along the way." But even if you don't probe into Meghan's birth chart, the people around her have already confirmed that she's a born leader, one with relentless tenacity. She apparently works so hard that her staff has a tough time keeping up with her. The Daily Mail previously reported that she wakes up at 5 in the morning and sends no less than six or seven texts a day to her aides to dispense ideas and requests. She has what they described as a "formidable work ethic" and an "up and at 'em' West Coast energy."

Horoscope.com also notes that Leos have a secret weapon. They possess a "boundless capacity for love, affection, and generosity." Meghan's friends seem to confirm this, as Serena Williams once said that the Duchess is her "selfless friend, lives her life—and leads by example—with empathy and compassion."

Meghan Markle's birth chart reveals that she's family oriented

While Meghan Markle's star sign is Leo, her birth chart indicates that her rising sign or ascendant is Cancer. The rising sign is one's "public mask," or the initial impression they make on other people, per Allure. The publication also notes that this means Meghan "deeply value[s]" family time.

Elite Daily resident astrologer Chelsea Jackson elaborated on Meghan's rising sign, saying that motherhood comes naturally to the Duchess. True enough, when her first child, Archie, was born in 2019, Meghan was nothing but ecstatic. "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy," she said at the time, per NBC News. "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm ... he's just been the dream."

At the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit (via Us Weekly), the Duchess also shared how motherhood changed her for the better. "It makes you more courageous," she declared. "It makes you so concerned for the world they're going to inherit. So, the things you're able to tolerate on your own are not the same that you are going to put your child in a position of vulnerability for. You go every single day — 'how can I make this world better for Archie?'"

Meghan Markle's zodiac sign makes her compatible with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be a match made in heaven. Apparently, they're a match made in the stars, too; at least according to their respective zodiac signs. Meghan is a Leo and Prince Harry, having been born on September 15, 1984, makes him a Virgo. These signs don't make people either a good or bad match, but astrologer and psychic medium Suzie Kerr Wright told Good Housekeeping that she hasn't seen what she calls a "beautiful synastry" in a while, until she came across the couple.

Meanwhile, astrologer Jennifer Racioppi said that their relationship is solid and pretty much unbreakable, which is a good thing, considering how there is so much weighing on their shoulders as members of the royal family. "As a Leo, Meghan's a natural leader who holds incredible social grace and emotional intelligence," she said. What's more, Prince Harry's sign Virgo makes him loyal and committed to Meghan. "Prince Harry, being a Virgo, is precise with his choices," she added. "He also has a Taurus moon, indicating that when he makes a choice he's fully committed."

Even Meghan and Harry's kids have ideal good signs. Archie is a Taurus, while Lilibet is a Gemini. Horoscope.com notes that Tauruses are "smart, ambitious, and trustworthy," and Geminis are "smart, passionate, and dynamic." Not bad for the royal babies!
