The One Cosmetic Procedure Khloe Kardashian Regrets

Since "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" first debuted in 2007, the women of the world's most famous reality TV family have undergone dramatic physical transformations. Some of that can be attributed to growing up — Kendall and Kylie Jenner were young kids when the show first hit airwaves — but some of it is the result of heavy contouring, doctors, and cosmetic procedures. In fact, the Kardashian look is so popular that surgeons have seen waves of women coming through their doors in recent years, all of whom are eager to copy the famous ladies' figures and faces. "There is definitely a Kardashianization of the younger people, who are especially looking to make similar changes as to what the Kardashians have had done," Michigan-based plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told the Daily Beast.

Despite their ever-evolving looks, the Kardashian ladies have played coy regarding the procedures they've undergone. Plastic surgeon Dr. Tabasum Mir speculated on Bikini.com that Kim had a tummy tuck, liposuction, and cellulite reduction — which Kim's rep denied, per the Daily Mail. However, as Us Weekly reported, Kim did share a snap of herself getting a "not particularly invasive" tummy tuck in 2016. Kylie famously confessed to getting lip fillers in 2017, revealing on her short-lived reality show "Life of Kylie" that her thin lips were a source of major insecurity, per People. Still, she hasn't admitted to getting any other work done. And what about her older sister Khloé?

Khloe Kardashian 'responded horribly' to Botox

In the early days of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Khloé Kardashian cemented herself in fans' hearts as the funny, charismatic sister. She wasn't as petite as her older sisters, which made her more relatable to viewers. However, the reality star started catching flak for using Facetune, a popular app which altered her appearance. "Facetune is the best thing to bring to the table. It's life-changing," Khloé said during a 2016 appearance on Chelsea Handler's Netflix series, "Chelsea Does" (via People). "It's the only way to live," she added.

But while it's no secret that Khloé loves a good Facetune, has she gone under the knife to transform her body in real life? During a June reunion episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Khloe admitted to getting injections and a nose job, per People. "Everyone says, 'Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant.' But I've had one nose job, [with] Dr. Raj Kanodia," Khloé shared with reunion host Andy Cohen. She went on to clarify that she's also done injections, although she "responded horribly to Botox." And while the star underwent the procedures to combat her physical insecurities, Botox ultimately proved to be a mistake.

Injectables were a nightmare for Khloe Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian talked about her negative experience with Botox on a 2016 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" (via The Sun). "I don't know if it's Botox or filler," she said on the show. "I did one of them and my whole face went numb and I could not make [an expression]. I had to dissolve everything ... I looked crazy and I still think the effects are in there."

According to Insider, Khloé became more insecure after "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" premiered. "I was so confident and secure before the show," she said. "At the time, I didn't know how much bigger I was — I became insecure because of everyone else telling me." Because her sisters received different treatment, as they were perceived to be "more beautiful," Khloé felt she didn't have as much to offer in the looks department. "We did so many photo shoots where [Kim and Kourtney] would receive racks and racks of clothes, and I was told by so many different stylists ... not to worry 'cause I'll be in the background anyway," she said.

Cosmetic procedures aside, it's good to see Khloé stepping out of their shadows and flaunting her newfound confidence.
