Does Travis Barker Have A Higher Net Worth Than Kourtney Kardashian?
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been getting a lot of attention for their relationship lately, mostly because of their tendency to show public displays of affection, whether it's while on vacation, on the red carpet, or even on social media. But the couple has also connected on an emotional level, too. Travis told Nylon in an interview that he credits Kourtney for helping him get over his fear of flying after his plane crash in 2008. "I made a deal with her that she had just said to me, 'I would love to do so much traveling with you. I want to go to Italy with you. I want to go to Cabo with you. I want to go to Paris with you. I want to go to Bora Bora with you,'" he shared. "And I said, 'Well, when the day comes you want to fly, I'm telling you I'll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours' notice.' And that's what she did."
Although the couple is definitely ready to take their next step — as Travis proposed to Kourtney in a romantic beach proposal in October — some have lingering questions about their relationship, including the issue of who is a bigger money maker. Of course, it doesn't matter either way — and the two support each other wholeheartedly in their professional endeavors — but interest persists nonetheless. And who came out on top might surprise some fans!
Barker and Kourtney have successes in common
When it comes to the Kardashians, there's no denying their bank accounts are impressive. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kourtney Kardashian has a net worth of over $65 million, with a yearly salary of $10 million. Kourtney's source of income is mostly from her family's successful reality television show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" along with her wellness brand, Poosh, and brand endorsements. Barker, meanwhile, has a net worth of about $50 million, per Celebrity Net Worth. The rock star has his own clothing line and a lot of his income is generated thanks to his band, Blink 182, album and tour sales, merchandise, and collaboration with other artists. He also has a wellness company, Barker Wellness Co., telling Men's Health about the venture "I felt like there was a gap in the marketplace. I never really care about, like, 'Oh, do I fit the mold to do this or that?' He added, "I almost like being like, 'F—k it, even better if I don't.'"
Although there's no doubt that both Kourtney and Travis are sitting pretty on top of their bank accounts, Kourtney learned an important lesson from her late father, Robert Kardashian. "The biggest thing that my dad always told us was just that money doesn't buy happiness. He would drill that into our heads," she told CNBC in 2019.
From what we can tell so far, Kourtney' has followed her father's advice, as her happiness with Travis — and of course, her three children — always seems to come first.
