Post Malone Shares What He's Really Looking Forward To With Becoming A Dad
It's no secret that Post Malone is a man of many talents. It seems like the singer has been around forever since he's the man behind some of the most sing-along-worthy hits like "Circles," "Congratulations," and "Rockstar," just to name a few. According to the Grammy website, Malone has been nominated for an impressive nine Grammy awards though he has yet to take home a trophy. Malone has amassed an Instagram following of over 22 million so it's safe to say that he has plenty of supporters.
Malone has been notoriously private when it comes to his personal life. According to Capital FM, the singer has had a number of romantic relationships in his life, including Ashlen Diaz. The pair dated from 2015 through 2018. The star is currently linked to a mystery woman and not too many details are known about the lady who's captured the singer's heart. It's also unclear whether or not she's a celebrity herself or not but according to TMZ, she doesn't spend a lot of time in the spotlight, so it's safe to assume she isn't.
While not many details are known about Malone's leading lady, that doesn't stop him from chatting about his exciting news in interviews, including how he feels about welcoming his first child to the world. Spoiler alert — he's stoked!
Post Malone is pumped to be a dad
Post Malone is ready to take on the role of dad! The star chatted with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe (via People) about the next significant role in his life as he awaits the arrival of his first child. As Malone puts it, he's "pumped beyond belief." Apparently he's been prepping for parenthood for quite some time.
"As a kid, I was like four or five, and I had this little baby I would carry around everywhere," Malone revealed. "It was a baby doll. And I thought that was the coolest thing. I would take him around everywhere. And I don't know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it." How cute is that? In addition, Malone noted that he's "going to be a hot dad."
In early May, Malone let the cat out of the bag as he revealed that he and his girlfriend were expecting a little bundle of joy. "I'm excited for this next chapter in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad," he told TMZ, adding that he wants to take care of himself and those around him and spread love as much as possible. And who wouldn't want that from a cool dad?
