Are Naomie Olindo And Chelsea Meissner Still Friends?

You'd think high society life in South Carolina would be gracious and charming. Full of old money and brimming with ice tea. However, as "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" proved, it's not all mint juleps, manners, and warm hospitality. Bravo's hit show "Southern Charm" doubles down on the reality of social life in the Palmetto State, albeit without any young sex workers being murdered — so far, at least.

"Southern Charm" is renowned for its extravagant and explosive dinner parties, making dining with Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub look like a table-flipping walk in the park. "Southern Charm" has all the elements of great reality TV: drama, feuds, fighting, drama, scandals, money, drama, friendships, fallouts, and, well, drama. Things became so melodramatic, backstabbing, and poisonous that several cast members have thrown in their lace embroidered silk napkins and walked away from the series over the years.

Fan-favorite and show O.G. Cameran Eubanks quit "Southern Charm" at the end of Season 6. Her two partners in crime, Chelsea Meissner and Naomie Olindo, left too, announcing their departure in the spring of 2020. "Naomie and Chelsea, like Cam, are just tired of the reality TV drama and don't want to live their lives this way," a source told People following the three amigas' exit. Naomie and Chelsea always had each other's backs through all the shady shenanigans. But what about when the cameras quit rolling? Are Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner still friends?

Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner are setting #FriendshipGoals

Since walking away from "Southern Charm" at the end of Season 6, Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner have continued setting #FriendshipGoals. According to Bravo's The Daily Dish, the blonde besties went on a vacay to enjoy some good old-fashioned ladies' time in September 2021. Olindo and Meissner headed to the scenic Palmetto Bluff to soak up the joys of the South Carolina low country.

And, judging by their Insta feeds, they made the most of their time. "Another heavenly weekend at @stayinpalmettobluff. This low country paradise holds a special place in my heart!" Olindo posted, along with a montage of videos and pics. And, it isn't just Meissner and Olindo who are still tight, Cameran Eubanks is also a regular part of the old trio too. "I love them so much and still see them all the time; we definitely stay in touch," Olindo told People. "They're both so levelheaded and normal! I needed them!"

Meanwhile, Meissner is quite okay with just having her good friends in her life for now. "I'm not looking for a guy," she admitted during a "Southern Charm" aftershow interview. "I'm not looking for a woman either," she quickly clarified. "I'm just saying. If something comes along, then great." However, Eubanks admitted her husband Jason Wimberly is totally in love with Meissner. "He would take her on as a sister wife, he would," she shared. Well, all it would take is a move from Bravo to TLC ladies.

Naomie Olindo is back and flying solo

As mentioned, Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner left "Southern Charm" along with Cameran Eubanks at the end of Season 6. It was rumored Eubanks quit over gossip that her husband Jason Wimberly cheated on her, something she denied. "My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumors about my marriage," she posted on Instagram (via Reality Tea). "I'm so damn proud of you and us, @chelseameissner58," Olindo responded.

It seemed like the three pals had put their reality days behind them. Not so fast, though! Olindo sashayed her way back during the "Southern Charm" Season 8 premiere. She returned home after Metul Shah cheated on her just 10 days after they relocated to the Big Apple. "Naomie is back in Charleston looking to mend her broken heart," Bravo recapped. "She's come back home and found comfort in the arms of old and new loves."

However, she's had to battle all of the on-camera drama — looking at you, Kathryn Dennis — without her wing women there to back her up. "I really missed both of them this year and wish they'd film again, but they're just so passed the point where they would ever want to come back," Olindo told People. But, she does still have some friends in town. "It's nice to have you back," Venita Aspen told her after Olindo confessed she felt "real humbled, real quick" by her quick return.
