Everything We Know About Elizabeth Gillies' Husband, Michael Corcoran
"Victorious" and "Dynasty" revival star Elizabeth Gillies married husband Michael Corcoran on August 8, 2020, after Gillies stated that she had a crush on him that began years earlier (via Vogue). According to Vogue's profile of their wedding day, Corcoran's a music producer and composer. However, the public knows relatively little about Corcoran, which might surprise some fans given Gillies' relatively high-profile television career.
The wedding itself came as something of a shock for fans who didn't known that the couple had been in a relationship with one another for more than six years at the time of their nuptials (via Vogue). Adding to fans' concerns were reports of a 20-year age gap between Gillies and Corcoran, whose ages were noted in a piece on their wedding by the Daily Mail. Doing the math, this also meant that Gillies, who was 27 at the time of the wedding, would have been around 21 years old at the time that she and Corcoran first began their relationship.

Michael Corcoran worked on Nickelodeon
Like wife Elizabeth Gillies, Michael Corcoran has reportedly worked on television shows for Nickelodeon. The U.S. Sun notes that he produced songs for "Victorious," the series on which his wife starred, and that he performed music that was featured on other Nickelodeon series, such as "iCarly." Corcoran has also won awards at the BMI Cable Awards for his work on Nickelodeon, including an award he received for his work on the Nickelodeon series "Henry Danger" in 2015 (via BMI).
Notably, former Nickelodeon stars such as Alexa Nikolas, Daniella Monet, and Jennette McCurdy have spoken out about their time working for the children's television network, including their concerns about predatory behavior and sexualization, some of which they claim occurred while they or the actors involved were still minors. While no allegations are known to have been made against Gillies' husband Corcoran, the couple's sizable age difference plus their mutual connection to Nickelodeon (including to "Victorious," in particular) has caused concern for some fans on Twitter, where one user suggested that the two first met when Gillies was 16 and Corcoran was 36. Despite concerns raised about their relationship by some of Elizabeth Gillies' fans online, she and Michael Corcoran appear to have shrugged off the criticism they have received. Although the two seem to keep their relationship off social media for the most part, Gillies posted a birthday wish for her husband on her verified Instagram account. In the photograph (above), Gillies can be seen embracing Corcoran while seated beside him in a booth at an unidentified restaurant.
Speaking about her wedding day to Corcoran — which occurred amid the COVID-19 pandemic and had to be rescheduled once because of it — to Vogue, Gillies discussed the moment that it hit her that she and Corcoran had gotten married, with her father officiating the wedding. She said, "Once we were exchanging vows, it hit me that my dad was marrying us and our loved ones were there, and I think I turned to Michael and mouthed, 'Oh, my God, we actually did it.' We were so happy."
