Some fans love looking on at their extreme displays of public affection, while others are put-off by their very pubic personal choices, such as their blood-swapping hobby.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes' age gap, and that whole Scientology thing...

Katie Holmes had a crush on Tom Cruise long before they were married, but with the 16-year age gap between them, nobody could have predicted that they would wind up together as a couple. Mimi Rogers, the ex-wife of Cruise starred in "Dawson's Creek," alongside Holmes. After she left the dressing room one day, fellow cast mate Mary Beth Peil told The Daily Beast that Holmes gushed over Cruise and confessed to being a super fan. After crushing on him from a distance, Holmes started dating Cruise in 2005. Cruise seemed equally enamored by Holmes, and he put on an unforgettable show of affection for her when he infamously jumped on Oprah's couch and declared his love. The couple went on to marry in 2006, according to US Weekly.

Holmes and Cruise welcomed their daughter Suri to the world, but their marriage crumbled, and the couple quickly divorced in 2012. Many speculated Cruises' involvement in The Church of Scientology had something to do with the breakdown of their marriage. Actress Leah Remini from "King of Queens" was much more vocal about her concern for the safety of Holmes and Suri. "I'm sure his master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother," Leah said to The New York Post. "I'm only assuming that there's some type of agreement to protect her daughter," Remini said.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's extreme PDA and blood-swapping habits

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have mesmerized fans with some of the most sketchy, questionable behavior the Internet has seen in a long time. They treat every public appearance as an opportunity to pack on some hot and heavy PDA that fans simply can't unsee. One such incident involved Fox licking a blood-filled syringe earring that Kelly was wearing, and, of course, this moment was prominently featured on Fox's social media page.

The couple has over-shared some incredibly intimate details about their relationship. During a 2022 interview with Glamour Magazine UK, Fox admitted that she and Kelly drink one another's blood. "It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only. It is used for a reason and it is controlled where it's like lets shed a few drops of blood and each drink it," Fox said. She went on to describe the experience. "He's much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he's willing to just like cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, 'take my soul, let me bleed on you,'" Fox said. Other eyebrow-raising moments include Halloween 2022, where Fox donned an S&M outfit and seductively knelt before MGK, who was dressed as a priest. The photo shows Kelly giving Fox communion in a post that was widely criticized.

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton's blood-swapping vibes

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton were very upfront and open about their obsessive behavior toward one another during the course of their marriage between 2000 and 2003. They became the original head-turners when it came to wearing vials of one another's blood – an act that some modern-day rebellious couples have since repeated. Thornton touched on that moment during a June 2018 interview with Daily Mail. "The necklaces were a very simple thing," Thornton said during the interview. "Hey, let's poke our finger with a pin and smear a little on there, and when we're away from each other, we'll wear the necklace.' That was that easy, but by the time it came out in the press, it sounded like we were wearing a bucket of blood around our necks," Thornton said.

Fans still remember the 2000 MTV interview when Thornton and Jolie were stopped on the red and told the press that they had sex in the car on their way to the event. There was also the time that Jolie informed fans she and Thornton promised to stay together forever by signing documents in blood. "We kind of signed our life away to each other and uh, legally, and with blood, that there's no possible way anybody can separate or walk away from this," Jolie told Access Hollywood.

Mia Farrow and musician André Previn adopted Soon-Yi Previn. Woody Allen and Mia Farrow then began a relationship and were together for 12 years. They shared two adopted children, Dylan and Moses Farrow, and had a child of their own. Life took a very unexpected turn for the family when Allen and Previn – his step-daughter- became intimately involved with one another. Their relationship began by chance, according to Previn, who said that Allen didn't groom her or make her feel uncomfortable in any way.

"Woody wasn't interested in meeting us children. And the feeling was mutual; we weren't interested in meeting him. I hated him because he was with my mother, and I didn't understand why anyone could be with such a nasty, mean person," Previn said during an interview with Vulture. "I thought he must be the same way." Previn blames Farrow for being a delinquent parent and claims to have never had a bond with her adoptive mother.

Their strained relationship became more tense when Farrow found nude photos of Previn in Allen's residence. Allen faced increased pressure when Dylan accused him of sexual assault in an open letter she shared online. Allen testified in court that his sexual relationship with Previn began in 1991, "a few days after Christmas" in 1991. Previn was 21-years-old at the time. Allen was 56, according to documents obtained by The New York Times. Allen and Previn are still together today, and Allen's career has greatly diminished.
