Kris Jenner Reveals Meaning Behind Khloe Kardashian's Baby's Name

Kris Jenner loves the name Khloé Kardashian chose for her baby girl.

On Monday, April 16, 2018, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians momager took to Instagram to gush over her newest grandchild's name, True, revealing that it holds special meaning for the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

"I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!!" Jenner wrote, captioning a snapshot of pink balloons. "FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton....my Dad's name was Robert True Houghton...so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family @true."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian and NBA star boyfriend Tristan Thompson welcomed their first child together last Thursday, April 12. The following Monday, the Revenge Body star revealed their little bundle of joy's name.

"Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE," the new mom wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of a room filled with pink flowers and balloons. "Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!"

After the announcement, a number of fans, who weren't very impressed with the name choice, took to social media to react, with many mentioning how the Cavaliers star had been caught on video allegedly cheating on Kardashian with multiple women just days before their child's birth.

"How Khloé gonna name her baby True Thompson when her daddy didn't stay to True to her momma???" one fan tweeted, while another wrote, "The irony of Khloe Kardashian's baby's name is too much. TRUE THOMPSON."

However, according to an Entertainment Tonight source, the couple chose to name their daughter True long before Thompson's cheating scandal broke.

Kardashian, 33, and Thompson, 27, have been together since October 2016. The reality TV star, who is reportedly trying to keep the peace amid the infidelity reports, finally confirmed her pregnancy last December, following months of speculation. "My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby!" she wrote on social media, captioning a photo of her and Thompson's hands on her baby bump. "I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it's the best bundle of feelings I've ever felt in my life!"
