Eminem's Daughter Hailie Is Engaged — Who Is Her Fiance, Evan McClintock?
Eminem is one of the most successful (and controversial) rappers of all time. Since his debut in 1996, per Britannica, he's supplied his fans with a plethora of autobiographical rap songs about his life, which paints candid tales of his marriage woes to his ex-wife Kim Scott and the painful relationship between him and his mother, Debbie Nelson. Among the deep dives and (sometimes uncomfortable) revelations are the songs he wrote for his daughter, Hailie Jade, which often took on a brighter tone. According to People, Jade was mentioned in songs such as "My Dad's Gone Crazy," "The Way I Am," and Dejà Vu," and nearly two dozen other tracks.
Today, Jade is doing big things! The Detroit native graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology. And as her father revealed during an appearance on "Hot Boxin' with Mike Tyson," she majored in Psychology and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Since then, Jade appears to have pivoted to the role of a podcast host and social media influencer. Between TikTok and Instagram — where she regularly posts fashion and beauty content — Jade boasts nearly five million followers.
Oh, and did we mention that Jade is also engaged to Evan McClintock? Jade announced the wonderful news via Instagram, but just who is the man who stole Eminem's daughter's heart?
Evan McClintock works in brand protection
Evan McClintock is an enterprise growth executive who deploys "complex loss investigatory technology and services to enterprises and large government entities," per his LinkedIn biography. "My most successful use cases land me in the FMCG [fast-moving consumer goods] industry," added McClintock. As noted by People, McClintock currently works for Scout, a software development company, located in Royal Oak, Michigan. The company focuses on case management software, luxury brand protection, anti-counterfeit solutions, and intellectual property software.
Like Hailie Jade, McClintock attended Michigan State University, although he graduated two years earlier, in 2018, with a bachelor's degree in economics. Prior to that, he attended Rochester College, focusing on business and marketing. Before diving into his professional career, McClintock worked for UPS as a driver (via Meaww). As reported by the publication, McClintock could be worth anywhere from $1 million to $5 million. And while that's not nearly as much as Eminem's estimated $230 million fortune, per Wealthy Gorilla, it's definitely nothing to scoff at!
Evan has been with Hailie since they were in college
Despite Hailie Jade's large social media following, she hasn't shared too many details about her relationship with Evan McClintock. Paired with McClintock's minimal social media presence, which amounts to a private Instagram account, there's not much to be known about his life outside of work. With that said, the couple hasn't completely flown under the radar. For example, it appears that McClintock has been with Jade for at least six years. As noted by PopSugar, McClintock's first appearance on Jade's Instagram occurred back in 2016. "Couldn't have asked for a better 21st birthday celebration (or a better guy to have by my side)," Jade gushed in the Instagram photo.
And while McClintock has appeared, periodically, on Jade's feed over the years, she's proven to be quite conservative about sharing the details of their romance. With that said, their newfound engagement likely forewarns months of fun snapshots of wedding planning, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and of course, the big occasion: their eventual wedding (date TBA). In the meantime, Jade can show off her gorgeous engagement ring, which as Nicki Swift recently reported, is likely worth at least $100,000.
