Kendra Wilkinson Is Focusing On Her 'Well Being' Amid Hank Baskett Divorce
Kendra Wilkinson is making self-care a priority.
On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the Kendra on Top star took to Instagram to share a message with her fans about how she's been holding up amid her divorce from Hank Baskett.
"Just posting random selfies and saying hello to u all," the reality TV star wrote, captioning a snapshot of herself showing off her new brunette hair. "Been trying to take care of myself lately. My mental, emotional n physical well being. Kids come first at all time but mama needs some fun rt now. I need a little kick in the ass. SOS 😂."
According to Wilkinson's bestie, Jessica Hall, the former Playboy model has remained "in great spirits" following the end of her marriage, adding, "She is fierce, and will always come through any challenges!"
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Wilkinson, 32, and Baskett, 35, officially filed for divorce in early April 2018 after nearly nine years of marriage. The split came following weeks of rumors and several emotional social media posts hinting that the two were headed toward Splitsville.
"Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man," the Girls Next Door alum wrote on social media at the time, captioning a photo of the former couple. "I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I'm beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that's why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way."
She continued, "We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile....Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed."
Wilkinson and Baskett, who married in July 2009, seem to be going through an amicable breakup. In their separate divorce filings, both cited irreconcilable differences and are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children, 8-year-old son Hank IV and 3-year-old daughter Alijah.
