Small Details We Noticed In Kylie Jenner: A Day In The Life

In early June 2019, the youngest and richest Kardashian-Jenner sister gave us a look at her daily life in a YouTube vlog titled "Kylie Jenner: A Day in the Life." We know what you're thinking: we already have Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which airs multiples times a day on E! Momager Kris Jenner is even an executive producer. However, Kylie Jenner reportedly took a break from filming because the drama surrounding bestie Jordyn Woods' cheating scandal with Khloé Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson was too much to handle, according to Us Weekly. (Honestly, that was a lot.) So, the world instead got this vlog, which gave us an inside glimpse at the makeup mogul's glorious life — and glorious it is.

Jenner's video might run less than 20 minutes, but we actually learned a lot about the star in the details. Chock full of fuzzy bathrobes, giant salads, and the perfect work-life balance, this reality TV star proves to be the kind of keep-it-real gal who'd rock a cracked iPhone screen. Meanwhile, her famous family appears to be the absolute center of her life — even when she's at the office. Here are some tiny details you might have missed in Kylie Jenner's "A Day in the Life."

Kylie co-sleeps with daughter Stormi

In the very first minute of Kylie Jenner's "A Day in the Life," we learn that the ultra-glam mama sometimes co-sleeps with one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster. This time, however, the sleeping arrangement doesn't seem to work out in the television personality's favor, considering Stormi woke her up at just 6:00 a.m. and "wouldn't stop crying." Shout out to all of Jenner's typical mom problems — though admittedly, most of us would have eye bags that hang lower than her butt-length hair extensions after being up all night with a crying kid.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, Stormi is just at the age where it's considered completely safe to share a bed with parents (via CNN). However, the AAP didn't necessarily say it's safe for the parents' sanity. Nonetheless, Jenner looks effortless in her pink bathrobe — just one of two bathrobes she rocks throughout her day. Also, is she already wearing lip-gloss at 8:30 a.m., or are we supposed to believe she just stepped out of the shower all glossy?

Excuse us, but is her iPhone screen cracked?

In the distant future, decades after Lord Disick rightly steals his place as King of the Kardashian-Jenner bloodline (Sorry, Kanye. Sorry, Kris.), the contents of the family's group chat will be printed out and safely stored as official, culturally significant records deep in the Library of Congress or wherever Nicolas Cage finds his haul in National Treasure. Yes, "A Day in the Life" teaches us that the KarJenners not only have a family group chat, but it's the kind of anxiety-inducing group chat that buzzes with repeated messages before you've even had your morning coffee. (Nonetheless, can you add us, girl?)

Around this time, we also learn that Forbes' youngest self-made billionaire exists in her day-to-day life with a cracked iPhone screen. Sure, it might just be her screen protector, but a new screen protector costs like $25. Only now do we truly understand that you can have all the money in the world and still not have everything (although you could have a screen protector shipped to your house via Amazon Prime within 48 hours, we're just saying).

Stormi's walk-in closet is insane

Not only does Stormi Webster have sunglasses fit for a future Instagram baddie, "A Day in the Life" shows us that the tiny tot also has a walk-in closet bigger than most New York City bedrooms. It's almost a slap in the face of the Bushwick couple who shove all their garments onto cheap Target clothing racks in the hallway because they live with four roommates in a closet-less loft space, but we digress. For Stormi, her gorgeous walk-in has just enough space to hold all of her custom — yes, custom — t-shirts.

However, a walk-in closet isn't the only luxurious aspect of little Stormi's life. The one-year-old also has a toddler-sized Lamborghini that she uses to take joy rides around her famous mom's office. At the time of this writing, she won't be street legal for about 15 more years, but we've heard the Los Angeles public transit leaves something to be desired, and Stormi has clearly places to go.

We got the low-down on Kendall's makeup collab

If "A Day in the Life" exists for one reason, it's to slyly reveal that the business-savvy Jenner sisters are launching a makeup collaboration. Older sis Kendall Jenner must finally be free from her contract with Estée Lauder's Estée Edits. In the video, the famous siblings meet over salads at the Kylie Cosmetics offices to discuss their product line.

"I really don't know exactly what we're doing today," Kendall coyly says, but adds, "Okay, well yeah. Right, we have a collab coming." Oh, how nonchalant! While Kylie herself doesn't give us many details about what they're up to, she does give us enough info to get us excited. As W Magazine pointed out, it looks like the pair are working on some lipstick and an eyeshadow palette, which appear to come in a range of neutrals with baby pink and gold packaging. For her part, Kylie goes on to share a small clue about when the line might drop: possibly around her brand's November 30th anniversary.

Stormi has a bedroom at Kylie Cosmetics HQ

Bring your kid to work day isn't just an annual celebration in the Kardashian-Jenner households. For her part, Kylie Jenner has managed to master her work-life balance, and it seems like Stormi is already gearing up to take over her mama's company when she either retires or becomes president. (Hey, apparently reality stars can do that now!)

After shuffling around the Kylie Cosmetics office space in her mini Lamborghini, little Stormi sits in on some of her mom's afternoon meetings. According to Jenner, the one-year-old is typically at all of her meetings, so the fact that she missed the Life of Kylie star's morning collab chat with Aunt Kendall was probably seriously reflected in her paycheck. Jenner has even built a bedroom for her daughter at her company's HQ, explaining, "[So] she could be with me and still have fun." (By "fun," we assume she means throwing around product models and paperwork, because that's what it looks like babies do at business meetings). The Kardashian-Jenner lifestyle seems to be a bit like Game of Thrones: you have to train your kid from birth to keep your legacy alive and reign over their rightful Calabasas, Calif. kingdom. As Grandma Kris would say, Stormi, you're doing amazing, sweetie!

Is Kim Kardashian playing babysitter?

We all know Kim Kardashian is working on adding lawyer to her pages-long resume, which already includes major positions like Silicon Valley starlet, television personality, and makeup mogul. There seems to be absolutely nothing she can't do, including being a babysitter. Now, we don't have an exact confirmation that Aunty Kim watched Stormi on the morning of that Kendall-Kylie collab meeting, but Kylie Jenner does show a clip of what looks like older sister Kim's kids hanging out with Stormi on a farm in "A Day in the Life." It also really sounds like Kardashian was on the other side of the phone and we know she texted her sister about four times in the family group chat that morning.

There's no word on Kardashian's potential babysitter salary (is $10 or $20 per hour the going rate?). However, it looks like she's at least trying to show these kiddos that people who don't have weird, seemingly drainless bathroom sinks or professional makeup artists on-call do actually exist. Stormi spends the morning with her cousins on a farm — a farm, like where corn grows and cows are milked — and even poses with a tractor instead of her usual Lambo ride.

The Kardashian-Jenners are still obsessed with salad

Anyone who's seen Keeping Up With the Kardashians knows the Kardashian-Jenners are absolutely obsessed with salad ... maybe even more so than waist trainers. If the sisters are seen eating anything on screen, it's almost always a mix of greens in a clear plastic container (apparently, the clear plastic container is key). Kim Kardashian has even spoken at length about her favorite salads from her hit reality show, according to People. It's a thing, and it's definitely a thing in Kylie Jenner's "A Day in the Life."

When we first encounter Kris Jenner in the video, she's eating a "Chinese chicken salad," which her youngest daughter thinks look delicious. However, we'd be remiss to not mention that the proud momager is basically all of our moms in this moment, as she goes on to call a vlog a "glog." (This is pretty reminiscent of that time our parents first discovered iCloud ... unfortunately, this cannot be erased from memory.)

Salad has its second cameo during the Jenner sisters' collaboration meeting. At about 11:30 a.m., the video's titular star is pictured eating for the first time that day, so she's either starving or the Illuminati has given her the secret to everlasting life without sustenance. While the table is littered with clear plastic containers carrying various salads, CEO Kylie is served first because she's a total boss, but her salad looks like a huge upgrade compared to what everyone else is eating.

A bathrobe is perfectly acceptable outerwear

Hear Kylie Jenner out: wearing a bathrobe is the best way to not wrinkle your actual clothes before the paparazzi snaps them. And yes, in case you were wondering, you can wear a bathrobe anywhere if you're a Kardashian-Jenner — around the office, outside in public, in your car, wherever. Slippers can even double as outside shoes if you try hard enough.

"I have my dress right here because I didn't want to sit on it for 45 minutes," a bathrobe-donning Jenner says while riding in her car and filming. Now, that's a mood. At this point, it's the early evening, but the reality TV star hasn't worn actual clothes since her 2 p.m. meeting (one of the many benefits of being your own boss).

When Jenner finally does put on her party dress, we learn that self-made billionaires literally have people to dress them. Why would you ever pull up the strap of your own clothing when someone else can do it for you? Let's not forget the star had forgotten to press her floor in the elevator on her way out of the office because she's so used to someone else doing it for her. In this case, Jenner's dress appears to be a two-person job, so she lends a hand. All in a day's work in the KarJenner world.
