Who Is Lady Gaga's Boyfriend, Dan Horton?

Since appearing in A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga's love life has been under the microscope more than ever. With rumors about her onscreen chemistry with co-star and director Bradley Cooper, fans wondered if the performers might strike up an offscreen relationship too. However, following the demise of Lady Gaga's relationship with her fiancé, Christian Carino, and Cooper's split from his partner Irina Shayk, the co-stars didn't start dating each other, much to the disappointment of their fans. Instead, the pop superstar was linked to actor Jeremy Renner for a short time, before it was revealed that she'd started seeing a brand new beau who also works in the music industry.

While details about the pop superstar's new romance are currently scarce, several public sightings and unexpected social media posts have gotten fans excited about the new love of Lady Gaga's life. Here's everything you need to know about the new man that Lady Gaga is allegedly dating, Dan Horton.

Dan Horton is on Lady Gaga's payroll

Lady Gaga seemingly first met her new boyfriend Dan Horton in a professional capacity. According to LinkedIn, Horton has been Lady Gaga's monitor engineer since November 2018. Horton was credited as the photographer in a March 2019 post shared by the Jerry Harvey Audio Instagram account. The photo showed a selection of in-ear monitors used by Lady Gaga and her team, along with the label "jazz," presumably referring to her current Las Vegas residency's Jazz and Piano shows. Gaga launched her Vegas shows in December 2018, giving her ample opportunity to get to know Horton in the following months.

Although his Instagram account is currently private, Horton says that he's based between Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Nashville, and works in business consulting and as an audio mixer. Horton's career requires him to travel just as much as Lady Gaga has to, and as a member of her team, he's probably gotten to spend a lot of time with her while at work.

Lady Gaga isn't Dan Horton's only famous client

Lady Gaga isn't the first world famous client that Dan Horton has worked with. Per his LinkedIn profile, Horton has worked with a slew of impressive musicians including Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, KISS, and Jay-Z. In 2013, he was tagged in one of Jerry Harvey Audio's Instagram posts with the caption, "#JustinTimberlake's monitor engineer, Dan Horton, with our new #JHAudio IEM case." According to E! News, Horton has been running his own business, Audio Engineering Consulting Group, "for nearly two decades."

He's also worked with Lenny Kravitz and gave an on-camera interview about working for the star. In a YouTube interview with SoundProLiveNetwork in 2012, Horton revealed, "He called me on the phone before, er, before I actually took the job because he wanted to see what I would do differently and I told him, 'Y'know, I don't know, I don't know what I'm going to actually do totally differently than someone else, but we can obviously work on a lot of things and figure out the tone that you're wanting.'" Lady Gaga's new boyfriend has an ex-wife

Before he started dating the "Shallow" singer, Horton was married to an actress. According to People, Horton married Autumn Guzzardi in 2013, but the pair went on to split in 2018. InTouch Weekly confirmed that Horton's wedding took place in Tennessee on March 21, 2013, noting that it was Guzzardi who filed for divorce on February 27, 2018. Entertainment Tonight reported that the divorce was finalized in May 2018 on account of "irreconcilable differences."

According to her IMDb page, Guzzardi has had small roles in a number of TV shows including Elementary, Nashville, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Fosse/Verdon, and Bull. Following her divorce, Guzzardi headed to New York where she appeared in an Off-Broadway production of Rock of Ages, per The New York Times. As the actress's most recent Instagram post referencing Horton was posted in 2016, it appears as though she's well and truly moved on.

Dan Horton introduced his ex to Dolly Parton

As well as working as an audio mixer for some of the world's most famous stars, Dan Horton has also worked in theater and in TV. Having already worked behind-the-scenes on Glee Live in 2011, Horton got a job on a late night talk show. He worked as a monitor mixer and audio advance engineer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon between September 2014 and April 2017, per his LinkedIn profile. It was there that Horton had the chance to meet country superstar Dolly Parton, and his ex-wife made no secret of the fact that she was a major fan.

Sharing a photo on her personal Instagram account, which was taken backstage with Parton, Autumn Guzzardi wrote, "Remember that time Dolly said to 'make Dan in a blonde sandwich' ... Oh wait, that was today ... At The Tonight Show! And yes I'm totally wearing my Dolly Forever T-shirt. Thank you Danny Nozell!" It sounds as though Guzzardi and Horton's blonde sandwich with the country superstar was one of life's unforgettable moments.

Did Dan Horton's ex-wife just throw shade at Lady Gaga?

According to Entertainment Tonight, Dan Horton's ex-wife is described as a "nice, normal girl" by her friends, and "the sweetest person ever." However, it would seem that Guzzardi has a wicked sense of humor as, when news of Lady Gaga and Horton's relationship broke, the actress posted a very suggestive Instagram. Sharing her acting head shot, Guzzardi captioned the stunning picture, "Poker Face," followed by a heart emoji, and fans were quick to call out what appeared to be a reference to one of Lady Gaga's biggest hits.

Cosmopolitan called Guzzardi's Instagram caption the "shadiest thing," especially given the timing, following the very recent release of People's photos of Horton and Lady Gaga kissing. But it's also possible that Guzzardi's caption was just a total coincidence, right?

Did Dan Horton leak info about Lady Gaga's new album?

In August 2019, Lady Gaga teased her forthcoming sixth album when she shared a photo of herself in the studio on Instagram, which was reshared by fan accounts and reported by Billboard. And fans are convinced that her new beau Dan Horton had already shared some behind-the-scenes details that he shouldn't have. In a since-deleted Instagram Story, Horton shared a photo of some audio equipment, and asked fans, "What is everyone else doing on this lovely Sunday?" As Horton allegedly swiftly deleted the picture, it's possible that he was doing something he shouldn't have been such as listening to Lady Gaga's new album.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Horton and Gaga seemingly bonded while recording music for the artist's new album. Per what a source told the publication, "They have been seeing each other for weeks and have been working with each other for a while. They have been working on new music, have spent hours of work time together, and became really close... They're working very closely together at a home studio in Hollywood, and sparks just started flying." Seeing as Lady Gaga joked on Twitter in March 2019 that she was pregnant with her new album, it's safe to say that it won't be long until fans hear new music. Presumably, Horton is lucky enough to have heard the record already.

Lady Gaga seemed happy going public with her new boyfriend

Despite having been through a breakup in 2019, after splitting with her fiancé Christian Carino, Lady Gaga was apparently happy to step out in public with her new love interest. In July 2019, People published photos of Gaga and Horton kissing while having bunch at Granville restaurant in Studio City in California, and they didn't try to hide their affection. Of the date, a source allegedly told People, "Ironically, she had a table in the front near the sidewalk, so she was clearly okay with being seen." The source, who was apparently a fellow diner, also revealed, "She seemed very happy when interacting with the guy she was with."

Similarly, Entertainment Tonight reported that the connection between Horton and Gaga was obvious to onlookers who worked with them. A source told the site, "People noticed the chemistry early on, and now that she has taken some time to herself, she finally feels free to date. They seem like a pretty good match." People's source also confirmed that, when it came to PDA, Horton and Gaga weren't shy. "They were kissing as they spoke really close up," the source alleged.

Lady Gaga made her new boyfriend Insta official

As everyone knows, a relationship isn't real until it's Instagram official, and Lady Gaga has already taken her new romance to the next level. In an Instagram Story posted in early September 2019, the pop star shared a photo of a romantic candlelit dinner. She tagged the snap as "The @dhortonaudio special," suggesting that Lady Gaga's new boyfriend was responsible for preparing the adorable home cooked meal, and that they were enjoying an intimate date night together.

At the end of August 2019, Lady Gaga also shared a suggestive photo on Instagram, along with the caption, "Italians cook with love ❤️ #facts." In the photo, the singer could be seen sniffing a white rose, while a bunch of the flowers and a lit candle sat in the foreground. While it's unclear who took the photo, it seems as though Gaga has spent the latter part of 2019 preparing and eating food in romantic settings.

While Gossip Cop has already dispelled rumors that Dan Horton has moved in with Gaga, the new couple was spotted attending a performance by The Cure together. It appears that the "Paparazzi" singer is more than a little smitten with her new beau, and who can blame her?
