As an entertainment journalist, Amy has written for ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, People, The Independent, Heat, HelloGiggles, Shondaland, The Guardian, and Bustle. Amy regularly writes about her experience as a disabled person living with multiple sclerosis, ADHD, PCOS, and anxiety, with bylines at Healthline, Byrdie, the MS Society, The Paper Gown, and SingleCare. She co-edited The Emma Press Anthology of Illness and had an essay published in Routledge's HBO's Original Voices: Race, Gender, Sexuality and Power.

Education

Amy holds a degree in English literature and an M.A. in the teaching and practice of creative writing, both from Cardiff University. She also holds a teaching qualification from Sunderland University and undertook Columbia University's short course in narrative medicine in 2019.
