One of the most glamorous stars to grace Hollywood's golden age, Grace Kelly lit up the screen with roles in "High Noon," "Mogambo," and several Alfred Hitchcock classics, alongside "The Country Girl" for which she won the Academy Award for best actress. She famously left the film world behind aged just 26 to focus on her role as a real-life princess after marrying Prince Rainer III of Monaco. But her fairytale life was tragically cut short in 1982 due to a fatal car accident that shocked the world.

Kelly's legacy, however, lives on in her three children — Princess Stéphanie, Princess Caroline, and Prince Albert II of Monaco — and the 11 grandchildren born after her untimely death, including Charlotte Casiraghi, Pauline Ducruet, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, Camille Gottlieb, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, and Princess Gabriella of Monaco. From ice skaters and divers to models and philanthropists, here's a look at the remarkable transformations of Kelly's six granddaughters.

Like many members of her family, Charlotte Casiraghi initially pursued a career in sport, participating in the Global Champions Tour as an equestrian. But it was in the world of fashion that the Monégasque truly made her name. Over the years, Grace Kelly's eldest grandchild has fronted campaigns for the likes of Gucci Cosmetics, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel while also taking on various brand ambassador roles. And in 2022, Kelly's granddaughter caused a huge stir with her runway appearance at the Grand Palais Éphémère's Haute Couture Show, entering on a Spanish horse accompanied by a short film about the relationship riders have with their animals.

Despite becoming renowned for her sartorial style, Casiraghi insists she doesn't think too much about what she's wearing. "I would be lying to say that it's completely haphazard, but it depends on my spirit of the day," she told Harper's Bazaar. "It's very important to feel good in my clothes. I like fashion that suits me. I don't take it too seriously." Here's a look at some other celebrity grandchildren who grew up to be gorgeous.

As you'd expect from the daughter of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Charlotte Casiraghi attended some of Paris' most esteemed schools, including the Lycée Fénelon, University of Paris IV: Paris-Sorbonne, and Sciences Po Doctoral School, earning graduate and master's degrees in philosophy. And she's certainly put her academic achievements to good use. In 2015, Casiraghi opened the Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, a think tank organization designed to promote, educate, and spark debate of various philosophical issues. She's also written several journals, essays, and papers on the subject, and she penned books "Archipel des Passions," and "La Fêlure," the latter for which she won the literary award Prix Musanostra.

In an interview with BILLIONAIRE magazine, Casiraghi explained why she feels so passionate about her area of expertise: "Philosophy needs to be exposed to all ways of thinking; it shouldn't be segregated, nor intellectualized. On the contrary, I want to bring philosophy to primary schools and initiate small children to philosophy via myths. When you think about it, children are the ones who have the most questions about life, death, space, or love."

Charlotte Casiraghi has also had quite the eventful love life. In 2011, she entered into a relationship with Gad Elmaleh, a stand-up 16 years her senior, with the pair going on to become parents to son Raphaël two years later before splitting in the summer of 2015. In 2018, the Monégasque started dating Dimitri Rassam, the movie producer offspring of legendary French thespian Carole Bouquet. That same year, Casiraghi gave birth to their son Balthazar, and in June 2019, they walked down the aisle together. 

Sadly, the marriage only lasted five years. But soon after their separation was made public, Casiraghi sparked rumors she was stepping out with Nicolas Mathieu, the Prix Goncourt laureate, when they were spotted together at a cafe. In 2026, they appeared to make their romance official when they enjoyed watching tennis in the same private box at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters. Through it all, Casiraghi has rarely spoken about her private life. "People often comment more on my love life than on the commitments that matter deeply to me," she told Point de Vue (via Monaco Tribune). "I am proud of my family, it is part of my identity. But I cherish my freedom."

Pauline Ducruet, Grace Kelly's second oldest granddaughter, had quite the unorthodox childhood. Indeed, thanks to the eventful love life of her mother, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, Ducruet spent much of her early years in a Switzerland-based traveling circus. She first got a taste of the circus life when her mom entered into a relationship with elephant trainer Franco Knie in 2001 and, alongside her two siblings, she was moved into his caravan. "That was random," she later told The Telegraph. "But it was interesting and I was outside with animals all the time. I was with kids from all around the world — German, English, Italian, Spanish — and we had our own little language. It was a moment of pure freedom that I don't think a lot of kids get to have."

The couple split just a year later, but in 2003, Stéphanie started dating Knie's acrobat colleague, Adans Lopez Perez, and soon after, they got married. Again, the romance didn't last long. They headed for the divorce court just 18 months later. But Ducruet, who decided to learn a few circus skills herself, has largely happy memories about this unique chapter in her life. "It builds up your character and experiencing all those things makes you a stronger person. I understand [that my upbringing was unusual] and I cherish it. I'm grateful to have had the childhood I did."

As well as learning various acrobatic moves during the time she spent in a traveling circus, Pauline Ducruet also pushed her body to its limits as a competitive diver, a skill she later quipped to The Telegraph was a "great party trick." 2010 was a particularly strong year for the aspiring sportswoman. Indeed, Princess Stephanie of Monaco's oldest daughter competed for her homeland at the World Junior Diving Championships in Germany and European Junior Swimming and Diving Championships in Finland. And she also made the Monaco squad for the Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore, finishing 12th in the Women's 3-Meter Springboard.

Ducruet also apparently had her eye on another trophy on the diving circuit around this time, too: a future gold medal winning Olympian now married to one of Hollywood's first openly gay Oscar winners. "I tried speaking to Tom [Daley] about it as I was taking him to training, but he didn't really want to make much more of it," father Rob Daley told Hello! about Ducruet's interest in his son. "I don't know who introduced who, but she definitely has got a crush on him. Tom said to me, 'She fancies me.' I don't know what she said to him though."

Once she'd made her last splash as a competitive diver, Pauline Ducruet switched her attention to fashion. She gained experience at Paris' Istituto Marangoni as a stylist apprentice, interned at both Louis Vuitton and Vogue, and graduated from Parsons The New School for Design. And in 2017, she teamed up with Maria Zarco to co-found the label Altered Designs. Ducruet then branched out on her own to launch Alter, a brand she told Hello Monaco is designed to be inclusive as possible: "I can imagine the clothing being worn by my mom or young kids like my sister. It is really broad and I don't think of a specific target when creating. I think of a broad spectrum of people."

Ducruet also revealed she developed a passion for clothes from a young age. "I remember my mom would tell me, 'You should be dressed like this to go to school,' and I'd be like 'No, no, no, this is the outfit.' It was always the pieces I felt good in, where I felt comfortable and confident," she told Tatler. The Monégasque also recalled how she'd often delve into her parent's wardrobe for inspiration, and not just her glitzy ballgowns, either: "I was pretty tomboy when I was a kid. I'd also try on all the suits and denims and motorcycle jackets. I think you can find that in my designs now, the contrast between the very feminine and the very masculine."

Jazmin Grace Grimaldi is the daughter of the Prince of Monaco, aka Grace Kelly's only son. But it took a while for her connection to the royal to be made public. In fact, she didn't even meet the man until she was 11 years old and it took several more years for him to officially acknowledge their relationship. "I was 14 [years old], getting ready to go to high school, when it hit the media that my father had a daughter, and it was me," Grimaldi told Harper's Bazaar about the time she was propelled into the spotlight. "It's a difficult time for any young adult, and it was an adjustment to have that attention. But I knew it was going to come someday."

Grimaldi's real estate agent mom, Tamara Rotolo, had briefly entered into a relationship with the oft-tragic Albert II of Monaco after meeting on the Côte d'Azur in the early 1990s. But after learning she was carrying his child, Rotolo became concerned about press intrusion and chose to raise their daughter across the other side of the Atlantic in California. Luckily, Grimaldi managed to make up for lost time with her dad. "Our relationship started uniquely, but it is something that has evolved and grown privately over time with patience and grace," she told People in 2026. Here's a look at other royals who have secret love children.

Jazmin Grace Grimaldi became the first of Grace Kelly's granddaughters to follow in her acting footsteps when she played a cashier in 2016 web series "Jay and Pluto." And she's since appeared in shorts "The Scarlet M" and "Brotherly Love," guested as a casino girl on award-winning period drama "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," and enjoyed a supporting role in New York love story "Cicada." "One of my first and fondest memories involving my grandmother was watching 'High Society,'" Grimaldi told Harper's Bazaar in 2015 about their shared love. "It was the first time I realized we had a connection. I'm passionate about acting, singing, and dancing." 

Yes, as well as gracing the screen, the Californian is also pursuing a career in music, releasing the bilingual single "Cup of Tea" in 2026 under the name JAZMIN. "I think art has helped me process my life and my identity," Grimaldi explained to People. "It's been a form of helping me connect with myself first and make sense of everything, not just understanding my narrative that is unique, but understanding myself as a person and what I stand for."

It's not just the acting gene that Jazmin Grace Grimaldi inherited from her grandmother. Like Grace Kelly, Grimaldi also a keen philanthropist, having set up her own charity inspired by a humanitarian jaunt to Fiji in her teenage years. "That experience taught me very young that whatever platform I might have, I wanted it to be connected to something larger than myself and to give back," she told Voyage LA, referring to the various initiatives designed to benefit the Fijian community across 300 of its islands, including education, sustainable development, and musical healing therapy.

Grimaldi, who's also worked with the United Nations World Food Programme and supported The Princess Grace Foundation, went on to add, "In many ways, I have always lived in duality, one world rooted in performance and creativity and another in humanitarian work, but ultimately, both were about connecting with people and telling real human stories."

The headline-grabbing Camille Gottlieb is the only daughter of Princess Stephanie of Monaco and former bodyguard Jean Raymond Gottlieb. Indeed, Kelly's seventh granddaughter looks exactly like the Hollywood legend, and people love to point it out. As you'd expect, Camille has no problem with being mentioned in the same breath as Kelly. "When I was very little, I was often told that I looked like my grandmother," she told Gala (via Town and Country). "To me, it's one of the best compliments I could ever receive."

What's more, Camille's sense of style is often inspired by the silver screen icon. While attending the 2023 Monaco Red Cross Gala, for example, she sported a Zuhair Murad lilac dress which appeared to be a throwback to Kelly's outfits in "High Society." And at the same event two years later, Gottlieb wore a custom-designed Elisabetta Franchi reminiscent of her grandma's monochromatic gown in "Rear Window." Like many of her cousins and half-siblings, Camille Gottlieb is keen to give back. She's on the Monéasque Red Cross' Board of Directors, worked with an animal protection organization, and founded Be Safe Monaco, a charity designed to both educate about the dangers of driving under the influence and support the families of those who've been impacted by the crime. When asked by Monaco Tribune what inspired her philanthropic spirit, Gottlieb shared that her mom, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, played a big part: "Since my brother and sister and I were little, [Princess Stéphanie] has always instilled these values in us, so that we realize how fortunate we are and never forget it. That's why it feels natural to me to want to help out ... To my mind, someone who doesn't help isn't trustworthy."

When she's not helping to change the world and serving as a fashion influencer, Gottlieb is busy with her own marketing, communication, and content creation firm. "It took me a while to take the plunge, but now I'm up and running, and I have a lot of personal and professional support," she added.

Princess Alexandra of Hanover, one of two granddaughters who hold a royal title, extended her family's sporting legacy at aged 10 when she started ice skating. The youngster, who decided to hit the rink after being given a pair of skates for Christmas, appeared to be a natural, too. Within a year, she was participating in national competitions. Alexandra went on to show off her skills at the Monaco Figure Skating Championships where she finished runner-up at the age of 12. She also competed at the 2015 European Youth Olympic Festival with a routine to the Henry Mancini compositions "My Fair Lady" and "Moon River", not to mention she twice performed in the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2015-16 season.  

Alexandra, who was forced to give up the sport to focus on furthering her education, later shared how she enjoyed the fact that she could never be accused of nepotism. "I had, of course, to show up every day for training, but there was something even better: knowing that no one could do it for me," she told Telva (via Hola!). "Sport doesn't care who you are or where you come from. You have to push yourself just like everyone else."

After giving up the world of waltz jumps and snowplough stops, Princess Alexandra of Hanover switched her attention to the written word, studying philosophy and political science at New York University before obtaining her master's degree at the Parisian site of Columbia University in history and literature. Alexandra, Princess Caroline of Monaco's fourth child, has had numerous articles published in magazine Revue Passager and also maintains her very own newsletter on Substack. 

Like many of Grace Kelly's grandchildren, Alexandra's also a dedicated follower of fashion, regularly showing up at the front rows of the world's biggest Fashion Weeks and on the red carpets of the most glamorous balls. But Alexandra isn't averse to the simpler things in life, either. "A perfect day for me would be waking up early, walking my dog, maybe going for a run, catching up with a friend over dinner or coffee, [and] reading a book on the sofa," she told Elle España (via InStyle).

Princess Gabriella is the youngest granddaughter of Grace Kelly, having been born in 2014 just two minutes before her twin brother Jacques. But despite the fact that she hasn't yet entered her teens, Gabriella's already being hailed for her sense of style, particularly the long-sleeve dress and buttoned-up princess coat combo she sported for Monaco's first Papal visit in 500 years.

In an interview with People Royals, her father — aka the Prince of Monaco — revealed that she's much more outgoing than her sibling. "In very broad terms, Jacques is a little more shy and a little quieter, but he can also come up with some very funny things," he said before describing Gabriella as "a little more outgoing, and she definitely has the gift of gab." The royal then went on to add, "She's just a character who loves to dance and to sing. She has no qualms about being in front of people." Mom Princess Charlene has also spoken about Gabriella's nature, particularly her inquisitive side, telling Gala (via Tatler), "She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention."
